Classic!! The deluxe wet burrito was fantastic. Mango margarita was tasty. And the service was good. The wait wasn’t long for 2 people, a little long for larger groups. The flavors were just like I remembered from long ago. I was a little sad they were out of the fried ice cream though.
We just dined in earlier tonight... Our server, Triston, took great care of us. The deep fried ice cream was amazing! Everything else was mediocre, at best. My mango margarita took 15 minutes, and the shrimp fajitas were a JOKE! A huge pile of peppers and onions, an entire bag of shredded cheese, and only EIGHT, TINY, shrimp. Gave us a good laugh at least. The manager was what really upset me, though, she just walked around the entire time and never actually did a single thing. Not one "table touch!" Not one finger lifted to help her servers, who clearly needed it! We initially waited about 8 minutes to be greeted, our server was busy, but the manager walked past twice during that time. The table next to us was very loudly complaining about how their server disappeared, and they had to get up and ask another server for boxes and a bill. I'm happy our server was so friendly, and that the ice cream was so delicious, but YIKES!!
Waited 10min to be helped when I could see my food over the counter ready and already paid for, my 20 dollar steak burrito had two long pieces of steak. That’s it.. can’t even cut it up and spread it out. Beans all at one end and veggies at the other. Poorly made.
This is the first time trying a wet burrito from Beltline Bar. This is the Old Mission wet burrito. I would say it would be a personal mission to actually finish it all... in one sitting. It's HUGE and packed full of goodness. It has tender steak, like actual steak chunks, guacamole, sour cream, green chile sauce, rice and beans, absolutely smothered in queso blanco sauce topped with tomatoes and cilantro. I would say the queso is some of the best I've had. The restaurant was very busy during lunch, however, my order was delivered much quicker than I expected. Highly recommended!
Came here cause im working from out of state, so I went to try the famous wet burrito, it was def delicious. And my waitress was great. And the salsa trey with chips was great also.
This used to be a favorite stop - after tonight I will never be back. This truly was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Food, drinks and service were all 0/5 stars. The service was slow. We sat without being seen by our waiter for a solid 15 minutes, food took forever. Consistently confused over simple orders. The food itself was awful - do NOT get Fajitas. Truly - two people in our party got them and they were pretty much not edible. So greasy, the beans and rice sat ON the fajita plate covered in grease. No lettuce, pico or sour cream on the side. TINY portions compared to most Mexican restaurants. The burritos were fine but the chicken inside was unseasoned so pretty disappointing. Queso and margaritas were both over priced and nothing special. (Did I mention OVER PRICED - their prices are higher every visit) Anywho stop in for bad food and a bad time I guess!
CeCe was a wonderful bartender. Good conversation Food was good. Great atmosphere. I'm from the Philadelphia area glad that I found this place.
