The Rush Bar & Grill
The Rush Bar & Grill in Sioux Falls offers a spacious and clean environment, ideal for casual dining and sports enthusiasts. Known for its friendly staff and tasty meals, especially the chicken bacon wrap and mildly spicy chili.
The establishment features multiple big screens for game nights and Bullshooters darts for added entertainment. While the parking may not be optimal, the service is generally prompt and the food is notably fresh, with regularly changed cooking oil enhancing the flavor of dishes like fries. However, consistency in customer service could use some improvement.

We had such a fantastic time for Dinner at The Rush! Our waitress was wonderful, and the food was delicious.
Pretty basic setup but the chicken bacon wrap was anything but. The chili is at least mildly spicy. RR's serviceable and clean. They have Bullshooters darts and a few bigscreens to watch the big game on. Staff were very friendly and happy to help! Nice spacious seating arrangement. Would return!
My favorite casual hangout for football and chilling in Sioux Falls. Great staff!! Clean. You can tell cooking oil is changed regularly unlike some other bars in town. Fries taste like fries, not old grease.
Last night I was in there with my dad. We gambled for a bit and after we gambled, I went up to the bar and asked if I could have a menu after waiting for several minutes at a table when no one came. After our food came out I went and grabbed it on the bar. They never brought it to the table and when I went up to get my food, I asked the bartender why he couldn’t bring the food to my table and he said because he’s not a server and I said OK so I asked him for a side of barbecue and aju sauce and as he was coming out of the kitchen, I heard the waitress say well maybe you should’ve gave her some toilet water. That was very unprofessional. After we sat down eating the bartender came and WAITED on the table in front of us. The waitress came by and we explained what happened and she didn’t have a care in the world. When I went and called to speak to a manager the next day he wasn’t in. I checked my account today and they charged my card with my dad’s food on there without asking us. Find better people to work for you. Bartenders and servers get tips based on their service. I actually enjoyed coming to this bar once in a while but won’t be back with these type of rude people working here.
Last week on Friday I was there with a few friends and the service was terrible. The lady who was working refused to take our order or come to our table the entire night. She made it clear she had a problem with us and I find that very unprofessional and not okay. I had to go to the bar to put in my order for food and drinks and when I asked the bartender why she wasn’t coming to our table he just shrugged. I love coming here but I’ve never been treated with such rudeness and disrespect.
Located on the busiest road in the state, the atmosphere is that of a small town bar, but isn’t in any way a "dive bar" atmosphere. The food is wonderful! Great portions, great prices, great taste. Seriously underrated. Beers are huge. Parking isn’t the best. Try the wings, parm fries, sandwiches, or literally anything.
The Rush has a great lunch special and a lot of drink options. The lunch specials are around $9 . Service is great, it can get a little loud at times but overall a decent atmosphere.
