Small, family-owned companies are a rare gem among today's mass-produced, cheaply made goods. Marakesh Leather offers a high-quality, custom-made product at an excellent price. My order arrived quickly in thoughtful packaging, with a complimentary keychain tucked in as a surprise. The craftsmanship and care are evident, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I ordered a belt online and was pleasantly surprised with how much communication I received from Morgan to ensure that the belt I ordered was going to fit me correctly. Over email, I gave them my measurements: current belt size, where the hole in my belt was located, et cetera, and they quickly figured out what size to make my belt and where to put the holes. And sure enough, my belt fits perfectly. The leather is also really robust and I imagine will last quite a long time. Fun note, I live in California now, but not long ago when I was living in Washington, I stumbled upon their shop at Pikes Place Market and had a wonderful conversation with the person at the stand. So when I stumbled upon their website by chance, and realized it was the very same shop, I took it as a sign. And it was! Because I have a wonderful custom fitted belt and a great experience purchasing it! Thank you!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered a belt as gift, but right after I ordered it, I found out the would-be recipient no longer needed a belt. I requested cancellation of the order due to the change in circumstances, and they were friendly and immediately cancelled the order. I was really appreciative of their flexibility and good attitude. Marakesh makes phenomenal products that are remarkably reasonably priced given their solid durability. I've been shopping here for over 15 years, and the shortest amount of time one of their belts lasted was five years of daily wear through marked weight change. The staff are all amazing, too. Very helpful and personable.
