Ed Lugo Resort

Cannot express our gratitude to the hosts and everyone involved at the resort. They make you feel at home and such a welcoming environment. The facilities are amazing and the pool and hot tub areas are gorgeous plus the rooms have a great old school Florida vibe to them that cannot be described. We will definitely be back soon

Ed and his staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and I met some great guests there. I stayed across the street but my next visit will be by the pool!!!

Ed Lugo’s place is amazing! We have been staying there for over 13 years. Every time has been simply amazing. Clean rooms, great property and amazing host. Staying at Ed’s is like being at a Tropical Oasis.right in the heart of Wilton Manors. You are seriously in the hustle and bustle of Fort Laudable area - once you enter Ed’s oasis it’s like you are in a tropical paradise.

I will first have to say the staff was nice They are very festive and welcoming and the house was located in the heart of everything.. |We stayed at the biggest room 7 which was not connected to any part of the resort. You have to walk on the street to get to the pool area. |The room was ok but could use an over haul and needed a good cleaning. The living room ceiling was cracked in a few places and starting to fall down. There was minimal lighting or it didn’t work and it was hard to see day and night |The bathroom was very bad. It was impossible to shut the water off. The toilet shook and was in need of updating. The stove was broke (they did bring a hot plate). The refrigerator made an awful noise which kept us up at night. It also appeared that the place was a storage unit for all excess supplies for the resort. The mattress was night but the pillows were awful. They were so big and hard a person couldn’t get comfortable. For the price, i expect more.|I will not stay or recommend this resort to anyone.

Loved this resort. Very relaxing atmosphere, the back yard is so beautiful with a heated pool and hot tub, beautiful landscaping. Staff is very attentive to accommodate your drink needs. Definitely will come back in the future.

TL:DR; Highly recommend. My boyfriend and I went down to Ft. Lauderdale from SF to visit his family for the holidays. We wanted to make sure we had a comfortable escape space, should it be needed. Ed Lugo Resort more than fit that bill. Super cute, well appointed rooms. VERY comfy bed. Welcoming, attentive, and friendly service. Multiple hot tubs and a pool on the property.

It was our first time to FL, and we had a dismal stay here. We arrived and were greeted by Ed ( not before seeing his fancy expensive car outside ) who was nice enough at first, but then quickly turned unprofessional and sleazy by talking about sex/hookups/drama. Our room did not match the room rates this resort charges - it was very small with very outdated furniture and overall very drab and sad. The bathroom window couldn't be opened and mold was growing along the ceiling line. The waterfall/pool is pretty. We never once used the hot tub - it was visibly dirty. We were shocked at the lack of attention to basic resort maintenance. They lock you in with the 5 night minimum so you badically have to deal with all the problems. Very disapointed. We have since stayed at other more affordable and better resorts in the area.
