Encore Highland Woods

This is our favorite park to stay at in the Fort Lauderdale area. The sites are spacious & well kept. In the winter months the place fills up with Canadian snowbirds who create a magical atmosphere full of live music & dinner parties along with a social calendar bursting with lovely events like dance classes, poker, pool, various outdoor game tournaments, bingo etc. The atmosphere has always felt quite safe & peaceful. The front desk staff and maintenance team is courteous and always ready to help. The manager there is a class act and you can tell he really cares about the community. This park also has a really nice gym setup.

The campground is neat and clean and not crowded at all. (August in south FL) The dogs we saw all were behaved and quiet. The facilities are great even though we only used the pool(which was wonderful!) Its not beachy or woodsy, but considering its in the middle of an urban area, it was great! Lots of restaurants nearby to go to or order out. Only downside was the engine noise from the business next door and it wasnt all day or all night.(We were at site 016)

George was amazing at helping to figure out some first time camping issues, the whole staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds are well maintained and the facilities (rest rooms, showers and laundry) were clean and secure. I will definitely be coming back the Highland Woods

Encore Highland Woods RV Resort in Pompano Beach, FL, is a fantastic getaway! The grounds are clean, facilities well-maintained, and the office staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Fun activities and a great location near the beach and local attractions make it perfect for relaxation or exploration. Highly recommend this tropical gem!

Kinda tight spaces, but best value around! Laundry, pool, work~out room all functioning amenities. Ashleigh is extremely nice and polite btw...

We had reservations, showed up to a pretty empty park. It remained pretty empty the whole weekend. Yet we were put in a spot that was too small for our trailer, didn't have room to park our truck, were right next to another trailer. Their office is closed on weekends. Besides that the water leaked, hookups are on the wrong sides. Would not recommend this place!
