Painted Tree in Tyler is one of my absolute favorite places to shop local! With over 350 vendors, it’s a treasure trove of unique finds—from adorable clothes for both me and my daughter to cute home decor, gift ideas, and some of the best beauty and body products in the city. I love that it supports small businesses and gives you a boutique experience without the boutique prices. The layout is spacious, the lighting is great, and they have convenient amenities like dressing rooms, on-site restrooms, shopping carts, and even a couple of seating areas. Parking is easy, and the fact that it’s dog-friendly makes it even better! Whether you’re shopping for yourself or looking for the perfect gift, Painted Tree never disappoints.

The place was cool with some cool shops. However, the girl at the front with short red hair and a black choker was unfriendly and didn’t even put all of our things in the bag. We found a 3D printed toy and it didn’t have a tag, so instead of walking to the booth herself to see what price it needed to be rung up as, she had my mother walk back and forth from the counter to the booth that the toy came from three times. She also asked questions that made no sense and got annoyed when we didn’t answer them correctly. We got home and realized she didn’t even put the toy in the bag. Made a whole scene just to leave it on the counter. The vendors are cute, but the employees need some work on customer service, communication, and how to place purchased items in a bag.

I love shopping at Painted Tree in Tyler! It’s such a fun place to browse, with so many unique small businesses all in one spot. Some of my favorites are Forfallon Design for beautiful clothes , The Lavender Lady for amazing scented products, and booths with the T-shirts. The whole store has a great vibe, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a great place to find gifts or just treat yourself, this is it!

Cool store. But Went to check out with my new and confirmed and activated visa gift card and it declined. The young lady didn’t help me further more as far as taking the gift card and entering it manually. She just stood there. After paying with debit card and leaving store. I called visa and they confirmed that this was the merchant that declined it. I have the conversation recorded as do they if needed to back up my evidence of this call. Management please consider proper and prepared training please. I’d love to return to this store and I will. Hoping for a better experience next time.

I’ve been there three times. I thought it would be great for gifts for Christmas. It has a nice variety, but is extremely high. Most items could be found in stores. They aren’t unique one of a kind things. My problem is check out. It appears that they use young girls to check you out. There were three both times. They stand around and giggle. Talk on phones and to each other. They will hold up a finger to tell you they will be there in a minute. For some reason some items aren’t marked with whose both they were in. I had taken pictures of each both I bought from because I had had the problem before. I found a found a bunny I wanted, but couldn’t buy because they couldn’t figure out where it came from. I also bought three little animals and they were in a sealed bag. They wanted to charge me $4.00 each and they should have been 3 for $4.00. I left the store with 1/2 of what I wanted wanted to buy And three giggle girls on the phone. Won’t go back.

Originally traveled to this location for a chime from In the Wind section F14-F15. Bought a lovely chime that sounds like a beautiful melody. Totally worth the price! Displays are hung for you to see how they sound, select from the boxes below. Overall, what a great selection of clothing to items all over the Painted Boutique! I like the selections much better at this location. The staff is kind y helpful.

It's a flea market, dressed up fancy. Most of the available goods are way overpriced and low quality, as is often the case. More distressingly, though, is the fact that they advertised a Mother's Day event with live music, refreshments, and sales from 10a-8p on Saturday before mother's day. This sounds like the kind of thing my wife would absolutely love! So I brought her here today, and there is... none of that. Apparently they didn't verify that the live performer could stay the whole time, and also had only one performer. She left at 4 today apparently. There were no refreshments to be found, and no big sales that we could see either. It was just like any other day. Felt a lot like false advertising just to pull additional traffic in. When we asked the staff about it, they just shrugged. "Sorry, she left." (No mention of refreshments or sales.) 2 stars because some of the individual vendors have neat stuff, but pricewise you'd be better off just waiting for First Monday or one of the monthly New Moon markets downtown. I prefer that anyway, as your money goes directly into the vendors' hands, rather than letting the venue take a cut. We won't be back. Edit: Also, 48-hour return policy. Yikes.
