Marge's Diner

My wife and I came here with our baby for lunch on a Saturday. It was quite busy, and the layout of the restaurant isn't good for those with baby strollers or infant car seats, but after a 30 minute wait, we were able to get a spot to sit. We placed our orders and found the service to be friendly, prices reasonable, and portion sizes very generous! We both left with leftovers, so to us, a great tasting meal with more than enough to eat, what more can you ask for? We will be back.

It was after 1:15 pm, and I was very hungry, irritated, miserable, and discontent,so I asked Grok to suggest a place to eat lunch nearby for a reasonable price . Marge's Diner appeared among others. The fries we crunchy on the outside and --can't find the word -- tasted just right inside. The bacon cheese burger was good. The part of this dining experience which must be highlighted is my waitree/server, a young woman, Adrienne, who is friendly, has a bright smile, and is exceptional at her job. I had been, figuratively speaking, slappedin the face by rude woman at a--I regret to share--small locally owned pharmacy to... well, I don't want to shame them. Suffice it to say, Adrienne could give classes on guest service. Thank you, Adrienne, for helping me persevere by your kindness, smile, laugh, and hospitality. You are exceptional. Marge may have to dig deeper in her apron to keep you, wink.

First time in Fargo ND and wanted some breakfast! Margie’s diner did not disappoint that pancake was huge and delicious. I don’t believe the eggs were farm fresh but they were good! All in all I enjoyed the blast from the past atmosphere and service was also top tier!

I love Marge's! they have a lovely, eclectic collection of dishes and saltnpepper shakers along the walls, awesome music playing on a TV, and wonderful servers. and the food was delicious 😛 the breakfast rolls and chicken waffle were wonderful, as well as the hangover hashbrowns. the gravy was really good (my dad ate it in a few seconds)

Absolutely loved this place from an out-of-towner! I got "the pancake" which was truly huge with eggs and bacon on the size. I thought the pancake was a little tough but still fantastic AND homemade maple syrup! The peach drink special I had was also amazing. The diner itself is such a cute midwestern vintage ambiance. Staff were great as well!

This is a really good breakfast lunch diner in downtown Fargo, ND. Great lunch buffet with all kinds of salad and toppings and 3 kinds of soup too! I love the Pancake! Huge cover the plate pancake, with 2 eggs and your choice of meat. And a cool coffee set up! U just walk up to coffee stand and puck out your favorite cup and dozens of choices of flavors to add. Me and my grand son went last week and Hank had a kids menu pancake that covered his plate too and two eggs and juice. Nice order building with hundreds of salt and pepper shakers on display. Friendly help and super fast service. Never gave I had a bad meal here, and I can eat a lot, but no way can I ever finish my pancake! And prices are fair in this day and age, I think my Hugh pancake and eggs and sausage was like $11 bucks. Really handy if U have appts at downtown Roger Maris Sanford clinic.

We’re staying in Fargo for the weekend and our Vrbo is just short walk away from Marge’s so we decided to eat breakfast there. What a great decision. I had the "pancake". Not sure if the picture will do it justice, but it was as big as my head (I wear a size 8 ball cap!!). Just delicious and I finished every last bite. My wife had the French Toast and she loved it as well. Next time we’re here I’ll need to go back and try out the soup and salad bar that starts at 10am. Highly recommend this place. Give it a try.
