Barnes & Noble University of Rochester

A relatively small Barnes and Noble. They generally don't have what im looking for. Make sure to check online before you go to this one.

Huge Barnes and noble. A lot of UR stuff. A lot of places to sit and look over books. A place to park a bike and right next door to the Hilton hotel and college. Two levels There is no coffee place. Children area

Unlike every other Barnes & Noble store, after taking my time browsing for gifts and spending over $150 in books and gift cards I was told the bathroom right there beside the register area was not available for customers. Incredibly rude. Will never shop here again.

Great place to get all.your university needs. Wish they had a bathroom though, even if it was a locked one only for customers.

It is located at a very good place. The store offers a good variety of books. There is a coffee shop attached. The store is big, clean and well maintained. It is a franchise but they accept Barnes and Noble card and offer the same Barnes and Noble card discount as regular stores. Parking is at both at the front and back (more parking space available at the back) entrance. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

November, 2021. They send things via UPS, but UPS leaves the packages 📦 outside at the gate, not at my front door. I blame B & N for a bad shipping 🚢 system that I had to pay for! Also, ordering online when I was supposed to get free shipping, they charged me for shipping! Then items were not available after they charged me for them. I complained to the manager, but she just said it's a new system. I am not happy with this Bookstore for online purchases & will not purchase online from them until they deliver my packages to my front door & fix their computer systems problems.

Great corner building with parking on the back but nothing was available near the store entrance. Smaller book selection to choose from on half the floor space. The other side had Rochester clothing. Sad to see the upper level was closed off to the public. No Starbucks located within the store but they did have plenty of comfortable seating near the window. Definitely not like the other Barnes & Noble stores I am familiar within other states. Friendly staff.
