2nd & Charles

Xavier is an awesome associate who has the most patience, and is so helpful! He never once makes you feel like you're bothering or wasting his time. Not to mention, all the books I got today had to be at least 4-7 dollars cheaper than I would have gotten ANYWHERE else! The store has a great selection, and has people constantly keeping up with organization so that everyone can find what they need. Great for books, music, or even fun novelty gifts. I've been going to this location for 20+ years now, back when it was BAM, and I have to say that 2NC is FAR better than what was at this location before! Reminds me of my childhood days spent at Media Play. Not to mention- one of the only places where you can still bring in your books to either trade/sell. If you're a book lover, looking for a gift, or just in search like I was today for a particularly special book, this place is for you! Xavier, you went above and beyond to help a woman find such a special book! You never once made me feel like I was wasting your time or asking stupid questions. Not to mention this is the second time you helped me find something. Last time, you helped me find multiple things by actually leading the way, and looking through everything for me until you found what I needed. Thank you so much!

Love this place. Frequent visits. Not worth selling a book to them at 10% return. But buying used books is great! Sometimes a book in not new condition will not be priced as used. But the customer service is great! Joining their club is great! Discounts and points. My daughter is an avid reader and we shop here FREQUENTLY.

Always a unique selection. Must stop when passing through the area on a road trip. Bathroom was closed the entire time we were there unfortunately. Found a few good board games. Even had a good find with a $25 mystery book box.

EVERYTHING is used...pretty much. If its wrapped, it doesnt matter. They have some new. However games, puzzles,.records,.toys, figures and such..all used! Its a great gift, gaming, book store. I love it, no matter what. Just letting you know... pricey too but its w.e.

The only problem I can think to report about 2nd & Charles is that you will spend way too much of your money there if you linger for more than a couple of minutes. My experiences with staff during my many visits as both a shopper and a seller (because they do BuyBacks as well) have been overwhelmingly pleasant, and the store, while cluttered because there's just so much in terms of variety of goods there, is fairly well kept. It's nice to have a place to go where you can browse books, toys, records, comics, musical supplies, and more all in one visit. They are nice and quiet on the weekdays, but even on the weekends when they are busier, it's still an awesome place to shop and hang out for a while.

I believe their name was Nico on the register? 10/10 service the store has lots to look thru and they were super sweet! I feel bad id conversation I felt like I was gonna pass out so I cut our conversation short but I wanted to shout them out for great customer service!! Don’t mix empty stomachs with cold brew 🤣

I went to this store around 5:45 p.m. on today and I wanted to sell a couple of consoles so I brought them in. I tested the consoles before I brought them in and they worked fine. After waiting for about 20 to 30 minutes the worker told me that they could not get my systems to work and then refused to show me that they did not work. They went on to say that they were getting ready to close and he could no longer help me. I won't take anything else there ever.
