Owen Beach - South

My go-to place if I need to recharge or calm down. Absolutely mesmerizing beach. Once I’ve seen the whale there but it was several years ago. Still hoping to see him every time I get there. If you’re looking for peace and tranquility, this is the place!

If you have a free day, consider coming here. You’ll get a long and rewarding walk - either along the beach or the concrete path, depending on the tide. You’ll get plenty of fresh air, and many sights from passing boats and kayaks along the water. I’m grateful for having come here from time to time.

Beautiful beach and stunning path if you park further up and walk down. If you are unable to do the walk you can drive down to the pavilion and enjoy the view. There are public restrooms and even a coffee shop (it wasn’t open when we were there on a Saturday afternoon so check hours if you can).
