Parking Lot at Owen Beach

Owens beach has changed the old opening now closed you go in the old exit. It's now both. Still free parking. Bring food and water. It $$$$ will cost you to eat here. No longer have changing room but do have large bathroom that you can change in. And the View priceless.

They have changed it up, and the hill is super steep, so if have an old car or bad transmission watch out. Point Defiance Park is one of the most magical places on earth and this is one of many sweet spots there

View greatly reduced. Speed bumps are comparable to the 8k meter Tibet/Nepal mountain climbs. Please put a road marker on the cement jetties that blend into the asphalt.

Very large lot, I presume doing summer this place must be really really busy. It's a short 1 minute walk to a small beach and a nice walk around the area

We've been coming to Owen's Beach for about 5 years now. Mostly we go during the off season. One thing that was sad to see is that we used to find some small but good seaglass there but not anymore. The park remodel committee must of recommended to add more beach rock to the shoreline.....like over 100 tons of it. No more glass, shells or other interesting things!
