Awesome Experience. If you want to see the stunning views of Manhattan Skyline & The Famous Statue Of Liberty While cruising on upper bay waters with cool bay breeze, you aught to take this ferry. Big ferry ships doing rounds every half an hour from lower Manhattan to Staten Island and back. Multi decked Ships with elevators and clean restrooms. And lots of seating. Just enjoy the breeze, the views on your way to Staten Island and hop back again for the same. It was an awesome experience for us & hundreds of others. Loved it. 👍🏻😍

It was nice and easy, it was nice how you didn't have to pay for a thing. You just get on and get off, you can take pictures of the statue of liberty with good quality. It doesn't take too long at all. I sadly wasn't able to visit Staten Island, but it was a fun experience seeing the statue of liberty pretty close. Definetely taking it to go visit staten island again. Also, don't listen to anyone trying to sell you to go on their ferry standing outside, just go inside, you know what you are doing.

Ridden this MANY times while visiting family on Staten Island. Great views (obviously, on a clear day; there have been 2 or 3 times I've ridden when it's foggy) of the harbor & all the points of interest in/around it. Smooth ride. Admittedly do greatly enjoy the automated announcements, especially when it says "Thank you for riding the Staten Island Ferry!"

We went on this ferry to see Statue of Liberty and got the best experience ever. Totally free. Just to lowest level rear deck for best views. Will definitely do it again next time visiting NYC

the best way to see the statue of liberty without paying...respect the people that use it as transportation and not as tourist attraction . the trip usually takes about 30 minutes and you are in the first 40 people to board you can find a nice seat with the best view of the statue...when going to staten island sit on the right of the bot...but when you are returning to manhattan sit all the way to the front of the boat to have a nice view, bear in mind when you are returning back the boat isnt going as close to the statue as on way to staten island.

One of my favorite free things to do in NYC. I really enjoy the fun chaos that unfolds as everyone lines up and boards the ferry. Then once your are on, it doesn't really seem that crowded and it's super peaceful. It's fun to ride both inside and outside and there are phenomenal views of the statue of liberty. I also noticed there is even a dunkin donuts on one of the ships! It's a very quick ride to statten island and runs every 30 minutes.

This ferry ride gets you really close to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. During the sunset is especially nice!!! Make sure to ride on the right hand side of the boat to see the downtown Manhattan, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Best of all the round trip is free. There is a ferry leaving roughly every 15 minutes. Highly recommended 👌
