Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises - Midtown

As a French tourist who went there on October of 2025, i have got to say that this activity is an absolut must if you are coming to New York, it’s not extremely expensive, and the fact that you are on the river gives you a superb view of the skyline. I would recommend to do this at night or during sunset. Concerning the crew members, they are great, boarding is quick and easy, the boat is quite stable so it doesn’t tend to get you nauseous, and the person who talks is great. It’s a great way to get great pics of the city, for my friend photographer. Here are some photos that you’ll be able to make during the Cruise. And thank you Circle Line for this marvellous moment that will stay in my head for my entire life.

We took the 2 hour night cruise and we are so glad we did! It was a great experience from start to finish, the photo opportunities were great! Dave the tour guide was a fountain of knowledge and kept it interesting and entertaining! (All the staff were friendly and welcoming), the boat was spacious and warm (we went today 24th Jan 26 and it was extremely cold outside) Cant recommend this trip enough, well worth the ticket price!

Circle line sunset cruise. For just US$30, this cruise is so worth it! We got to the dock about 25 mins before the departure time, and the queue was already very long. So long I wondered if we would all get on the boat. But the boat was huge, with plenty of seats inside and outside on 2 levels. There is also a basic snack bar onboard downstairs with snacks and drinks available for an extra charge. There is no onboard audio guide - having this option would have been good. There are restrooms on board. There is nothing flash about the boat or amenities, but the views are glorious and you can move freely around the boat, inside and outside, to get whatever view/photographs you would like. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend this cruise that is great value for money.

We greatly enjoyed our time on the Statue of Liberty EXPRESS tour! Debbie did a great job with entertainment and insightful facts about the area as a local New Yorker herself! The boat was running late due to the lake waters and wind but still arrived 10 minutes before our scheduled tour was to begin. I highly suggest arriving early if you have any preference to your seat. We arrived 45 minutes before the tour start, and the woman at the ticket box said they wouldnt let us in line until 30 minutes til. However, we began the line in the next 5 minutes. Outside is very windy and cold if winter months. We went in December 2025 & were recommended to sit on the 2nd level indoors, brown seats are more comfortable than the green. Tour guide will be indoors 2nd level. Great views even inside, but you are free to roam about!

We took the two-hour Harbor Lights evening cruise. The views of Manhattan from different angles and the Statue of Liberty at night were truly impressive. The guide was very informative. We arrived at boarding 15 minutes before departure, and the ship was packed with passengers—all the good seats were taken. So if you want a good seat, arrive early. It's not that important, though, as people move around during the cruise, and you're guaranteed great photos and videos. The bar onboard seemed a bit pricey. Honestly, two hours seemed a bit long. Next time, I'd prefer a shorter tour.

Came here to take the 2.5h NYC cruise that was part of the attraction offered in the Go City Pass. It was an eye opening experience taking the cruise round the entire Manhattan island and up to the Bronx. The tour brings you past many attractions such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Yankee Stadium, multiple famous bridges of Manhattan as well as the beautiful skyline of NYC among many others. The tour guide (forgot his name), on the 24 Nov 10am cruise, was vey funny and interactive, big shoutout to him for his effort and enthusiasm during the cruise. Overall, the cruise was decent and well worth it to experience the true NYC in a nutshell. If you have a City Pass, can consider joining this 2.5h cruise.

Great ride,smooth on the water, very knowledgeable tour guide. A bit too fast of a talker, I struggled a bit to keep up, but thats probably on me! Would live to go again on A different tour they offer, lots of information! Bathroom and snacks on the boat, inside and outside seating available, doesn't matter where you sit, you'll see it all!
