Historic Pryor Avenue Iron Well

Always enjoyed the uniqueness of this original bubbler. I happened to meet a guy while getting hydrated at nearby DeMarinis Original Recipe Pizza shrine around the corner told me his son was aquifer expert and that the water flowing from that "iron well" 300 yards from the shores of lake Michigan actually came from Lake Superior via an underground aquifer . How much do you, as the Historic Pryor Avenue Iron Well (Owner) charge for a gallon of this water?

haven't tasted water this bad since Milwaukee's water was full of cryptosporidium. the warning sign about the unsafe impurities in the water is about 12 ft from the source so unless you were looking around you will not notice it. they should put the warning sign right on the spigot. but hey if you like swallowing radioactive water and heavy metals, go for it

My son will only drink water from this well. We drive over 49 miles round trip for our drinking water and it’s worth every mile. Save the Pryor Avenue Well! Save it!

Built in 1882, this Artesian well has been flowing 24/7 since then. Fun to see.

So strange to find this right on the street. On an 85 degree day the water was cool and refreshing. There is a definite iron taste to it that reminded me of some of the wells in Michigan.

You'll find this historic well in a residential area. You are allowed to bring water jugs, etc. to fill up. Be forewarned that this is an iron well, so the water is definitely NOT city water tasting. Many people stop to fill up to water plants or give their dog a quick drink while on their walk.

Having journeyed here during my youth I once partook in a solo tasting and could not have been happier. After recently visiting I decided I had to leave a review. This appears to have fixed abnormal hair growth I had suffered from for the past 5 years in the groin area. Omnissiah approved!
