I shot pool and had the Catfish over yellow rice with Alfredo sauce. My friend had the gumbo. $15 for both, cash only. The food was very tasty I shot pool, met some decent folks and it was a good time

My Aunt was looking for venues to host her birthday late notice and they had space. The owner told us to come down on Wednesday because she has 50 cent wings. I thought great no one has 50 cent wings. It was very welcoming, nice music, with many places to sit and the patrons were nice, but that’s where the pleasantries end. Must’ve been a bad night. I couldn’t order anything because they have no menus, no house drinks, if you would like to order food you have to stand in the doorway and hope she recognizes you, then she may give your food to whomever she’s wants to because there’s no ticket system for food. Anyway…. She literally watched me stand there for 6 minutes and a group of 4 ppl she knew came she started took their orders and then said she wasn’t taking any more orders, but she didn’t say it to me directly she yelled it to the crowd while still not acknowledging I was waiting. Maybe it was because I was young and not aggressive. Either way I drove 25 minutes to the hood to be ignored. I didn’t eat or drink so no idea how either are. This place needs bar rescue bad and I literally love dive bars! You meet the best ppl! I’ll try again since now I know what to expect.

Nice place to stop &have drink or 2. They have a nice looking bartender. Short pretty dark skin. But, she might need a "Bib" she had make-up on her shirt 👕 🤔

We where doing a tree job across the street (and smelled the amazing food) and an employee came out and said give us a try, and we are glad we did. We got the jerk chicken dinner and jerk chicken egg roll and it was AMAZING to say the least. The corn bread was moist, chicken was full of flavor, and the cabbage was cooked to a perfect tenderness. Will be back to try the steaks next.

Haven't been in this place since the early '90s never knew I would have so much fun in this place still today standing strong. I look forward to going back someday soon.
