Linn Park

Very nice public park with deep history. Across the street from the Birmingham Art Museum and like the court house, it has a lot of water features that I'm sure look great in the summer when running. Lots of seating and areas to soak up some sun. Only a couple unsheltered hanging out during my visit.

Attended concert in the park. It was very cold but I still enjoyed the show. Police was visible. Made me feel safe. Did see alot of homeless people from a distance. Food trucks, great view,

Came here for the Fiesta a Bham event and enjoyed it so much! What a great cultural experience! So many vendors, so many organizations. Kids had fun picking up promotional materials from exhibitors and chatting with everyone. Lots of dancing, music - come check it out in late September. This year2024 was their 22 year as a festival, I think. Largest Hispanic festival in Alabama.

They have homeless there, but they don't bother you. There's some nice stuff to see. Emphasis 7th day Adventist church goes there every Fourth Saturday to feed the hungry.

It's a beautiful place. Too bad it's filled with beggars and indigent people. Very dangerous place.
