Kettle Point Pier

Visited Mrs. Skipper the wooden troll (1 of 5 trolls in the state). There are some good photographic views of the troll, rock, and water from the fishing pier nearby, but many walk around the troll to the front side. But be careful of your footing on the smooth rock.

- You can see Mrs.Skipper (1 of 5 trolls in RI) if you park at University orthopedics, take a left onto the east bay bike path and turn right into the open gate. It’ll take you out to Kettle Point pier and it’ll be to the left. You can take a trail down to the troll but it gets pretty busy during the day - Lots of free parking along the bike path - No bathrooms

We went to the Kettle Point Pier to find the troll and walk the pier. You can walk down the steep stones to the front of the troll. The troll creator is so talented. Very responsible that all recycled materials are used.

Mrs. Skipper, the troll, is here and she is fabulous. We thoroughly enjoy searching for the trolls in Rhode Island. We found all five of them! 👍👌

Also known as Spooky Bottom Dock, has an interesting view of Providence and is the best view of the troll in East Providence

This was the first of 5 Rhode Island trolls visited. Not sure if Mrs Skipper arrive at Kettle Point with her boat or if she picked that spot for taking off to sea.

Bring your bikes and walking shoes. Nice views of the water and the windmills. You might see the barges pumping water, birds flying aimlessly in the breeze and families enjoying the weather and laughing at each other. Park above with a short walk out, and visit the troll
