My absolute favorite Hotel in West Hollywood…right on Sunset Blvd so you’re right by some great spots, including the Troubadour & Mel’s (just to name a few!). The Comedy Store is immediately next door as well! The hotel itself is gorgeous - posh & upscale. Valet service was excellent; quick & convenient. I really appreciated how quiet & comfortable the hotel felt, considering you’re right on the Sunset Strip. The rooms were immaculate and gave off a relaxing vibe - perfect after a day of exploring. Room service was excellent & the food was delish. Staff went above and beyond. My favorite part of the hotel - the rooftop pool & sundeck, which is the highest rooftop hotel pool in ALL of Los Angeles! I can’t recommend the Andaz enough!

Was here in the rockstar room on the PH floor for a 2 day work stay and I have to say I really enjoyed this place. Very cool and unique room, amazing panoramic views out the window of the city which is especially beautiful at night, super comfortable bed, nice gym, free snacks, really just an all around great stay. The staff was indifferent and there was an extremely loud bass subwoofer sound from about 830-1050pm on Fri night from the club room above but neither of those things make the stay any less enjoyable. Will be my go-to Hyatt in LA unless it’s too inconvenient. Stayed at Hotel Figueroa downtown one night prior and was not impressed with that.

Okay low key I got a nice deal on a massive 1 bedroom suite here and was not expecting much to be honest. I’ve always seen the Andaz but prefer staying across the street at Sunset Tower - it was just 1/5 of price for 10x room size. Anyways, service was great. The room was great. Bathroom products great. Bathtub excellent. Water was great. Bed and pillows were great. Was beyond pleased. Sure the lobby a bit dated and such, but overall experience for the price is good.

Positive: Location, quietness, comfy bed Negative: An insane amount of hidden fees, they charge for the air you breathe in their resort basically lol

TLDR: poor service, needs to be remodeled, agree with others, 5/5 reviews must be fake. This is my second time staying at this Andaz, and this hotel is not 4 stars and does not live up to the Andaz standard. When we arrived for our stay, we were informed by the first front desk person that our room was being "inspected" by room service and they needed 5 minutes. She walked away (and never came back), so after 15 minutes another person offered to help us. She then informed us our room wouldn’t be ready until 8pm. Once we finally got to our room, we could not get the temperature below 71 degrees. We called the front desk and were deferred to maintenance, and then we were informed the AC was turned off for the building and you can’t control the temperature in the room but they could bring a fan. They eventually brought a small individual fan. Just don’t stay here, it is a tired hotel that needs to be remodeled and is cheaper than others on sunset for a reason.

My wife and I have a Hyatt Globalist rating and decided on my first day of my trip to LA as my Andaz accommodation. This was the worst choice. There are a couple of reasons for that. The noise was very loud in the room, even though I was assigned the PH level, which was the first highest floor. Somehow, I was placed in two pairs of earplugs next to my bed. I heard the noise of cars passing by loudly all night on the road next to the hotel, and it was very unpleasant. The windows were not windproof in the room, so a cold January wind came into the room all night. Also, for the reason that it's LA city policy, there was very light water pressure coming from the sink and shower booth. I was very embarrassed because this was my first time at a hotel with such water pressure, but they took it for granted by putting the LA city policy on the toilet. The headquarters, Hyatt, needs to take a look at Andaz, which is in this position where it usually ruins its reputable affiliates.

If you don't need to be in the area, don't stay here. Currently staying here right now. The toilet can't flush, the showerhead is leaking, when asked to switch a room they said no and there are plenty of rooms currently available on Expedia and PriceLine. Took an hour of someone in my room fixing the toilet which is extremely disturbing. The room is significantly older than the photos, and the room is not cleaned and serviced by afternoon and when called the answer was "there's no ETA for when that can be done." Absolutely GREAT service. Just go to other hotels near Beverly side you should have the same convenience in terms of location and just better amenity.
