My stay at the Unity Hotel was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. The room was disgusting — I saw roaches crawling around, which immediately made me question the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the property. It was hard to relax knowing there were insects in the room. On top of that, the check-in service was very rude and unprofessional. The staff seemed uninterested, dismissive, and unwilling to address concerns, which made the experience even worse from the start. To make matters worse, the surrounding area felt unsafe. There was a general sense of discomfort being outside the hotel, especially at night. Overall, the combination of poor cleanliness, rude service, and an unsafe-feeling environment made this stay completely unacceptable.
basic room: bed, a/c, shower & nice towels. no noise. i felt safe enough... blood on the bathroom wall, missing smoke detector, and sketchy drunks hanging out front on street notwithstanding. Got what I needed with no hassles.
This is the most horrible hotel in Long Beach! It had so many roaches 🪳 ! & I booked it for 4 nights. Biggest mistake of my life! I was scared roaches where gonna go wit me to the next place so I immediately went to the wash house and washed all my blankets! The walls are disgusting as well as the bathroom! The bathroom had roaches coming from the top of the ceiling under the refrigerator as well as the bed. The only I was happy about it that we got are $20 deposit back! Because she knew there roaches 🤮! This place needs to be knocked down!
Rude manager very disrespectful Dirty rooms This place has roaches And its in a horrible neighborhood No parking
Don’t stay here even if it is your last resort, place rented to me and my disabled spouse one night and then the following day we decided to extend our stay one night and it was an Indian woman there who suddenly flipped out on us for what reason screaming at the top of her lungs at us to get out I won’t lie I threw the room keys at her when I got my key deposit back from her and that is when it escalated into a full blown altercation and screaming match, they have my key fob and refused to give it back to me so that’s when I decided to call the police because I wanted to report them and I sure did then she went on and lied to the police about having it, don’t stay here these people are thieves and scandalous, please everyone pay the extra few dollars and stay somewhere that won’t steal from you and try to assault you.
My wife and I LOVE THIS MOTEL. It's QUIET AND SAFE, and WE HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED AN ISSUE WITH THE STAFF. AMAZING SLEEP. YES, ILL ADMIT. IT'S NOT ALL RHAT GREAT, BUT IT'S WORTH IT. DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY IRS COVER.
The only good thing about this was the location, it's fairly close to the beach. Not a safe neighborhood. Very dirty rooms, we found roaches and the walls are stained. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned since it opened. Very rude lady working at "reception". Wouldn't recommend.
