Wonderful hotel to stay with children. The Disneyland shuttle is an amazing time saver. The restaurants at the hotel have great service and delicious food. Fast check in and a wonderful lobby. Can watch the Disneyland fireworks from the pool area too. The only thing I would like to add is the ability to use my streaming services on the tv in the room. Will definitely stay here again on our next Disneyland visit. Highly recommend
The hotel is nice. Overall, the room was pretty quiet. The doors slam hard, so that was kind of loud when people were getting in late. But, we could not hear people above us, which was nice for a hotel. The Disney shuttle was very timely and convenient. My only complaint is that the room could have been cleaner. The bathroom wasn’t super clean and there were some gross stains on the floor. There was also some garbage on the floor from the previous patrons. Considering the hotel is significantly higher than others around it and you have to pay quite a bit extra for breakfast & parking, I did expect a little more.
Positive: The shuttle is super convenient. We could even come back to rest in the middle of the day. Negative: It was raining during our stay and the ceiling panel in the lobby was bulging and dripping water. The couch in the room was pretty dusty. The hotel needs updates.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It’s extremely close to Disneyland, and the shuttle service to and from the parks is convenient and reliable. Getting to the parks was easy, and that part of the stay worked well. Unfortunately, the condition of the Garden Tower where we stayed was very poor. It’s obvious that little to no cosmetic work has been done in years. The walls throughout the hallways were scratched and dented, and the chairs were in rough shape — the lining underneath them was falling apart and dragging on the floor. The curtain rod for our window was also broken. There were also several cleanliness and maintenance issues. The floors had strange stains, and the pool area looked like it hasn’t been updated in a long time — the bottom of the pool has visible rust stains and could really use repainting. Overall, the Garden Tower had more of a worn-down motel vibe than what you would expect from a hotel in this location and price range. Another major downside is the internet. The "free" Wi-Fi is limited to 1 Mbps, which is essentially dial-up speed in 2026 and barely usable for most things. Overall, the proximity to Disneyland and the shuttle service are the strong points, but the condition of the Garden Tower rooms and the lack of usable internet make it hard to recommend unless significant renovations are done.
Ideal place to stay to visit Disney. Free shuttle every half hour was convenient (we also walked to Disney Downtown the first night, which was a little long but doable). You can see the fireworks perfectly from the bus stop at the edge of the property, as the friendly receptionist let us know. The staff were great. The rooms were a little older, especially the bathrooms, but perfectly adequate, and the rooms were more spacious than a typical hotel with lots of nice little design choices (wallpaper on one bedroom wall with a subtle forest pattern we loved, curtains and headboard on the bed gave it a royal feel). The grounds were also well landscaped and enjoyable to stroll the koi pond, gazebo, and rose garden.
WiFi is the worth! the furniture is extremely old it has an old smell when you walk into the lobby kinda like a dust smell it’s my first time coming to Disney land and I wish I wouldve chose a better hotel this experience wasn’t the best only positive thing is it’s close to Disneyland and the shuttles are provided other then that I wouldn’t book this hotel again there are PLENTY OF HOTELS NEAR BY that looked way better interior wise and exterior wise this hotel is pretty on the outside but once you get to the rooms you see the west and tear
Location and shuttle service is a 10/10. Shuttle service has been great to and from the Disney parks. Everything else is terrible. Do not stay in the garden tower unless you are a heavy, heavy sleeper or enjoy the sound of thunder and rumbling while your trying to sleep. The freeway is so loud and is 24/7 noise. Our two kids (5 and 7 months) havent slept as the noise startles them awake. Cleaning is only by request, as are towels and garbage removal. Pool is unusable. There were ducks swimming in it and full of debris and feathers. Toilets in the garden tower do not flush well and you have to use the lobby bathroom if you have to do anything other than pee or you'll have waste floating around in your toilet for days. Staff are not friendly, nor do they want to help make your experience better. We spoke to a member of staff about the issue with the noise and the toilet and asked if we could be switched to a different room, so they gave us a room 3 floors higher in the same location, with the same noise. I advised I would pay for an upgrade and was still offered a room in the same area but for more money? I explained our children couldn't sleep and I was pretty much told that's too bad. The hotel is empty but the staff aren't interested in helping. This was our first family vacation and it was a major let down staying at this hotel. Pay more to stay elsewhere.
