Gaslight Bed & Breakfast

It’s so neat that Maria and her husband have restored and are the caretakers for this wonderful house. The interior is charming, grand, and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent, along with Maria’s stories. We also enjoyed the front deck as a cozy, quiet place to sit in the evening and watch the neighborhood. I can imagine what it would have been like to grow up in such a grand house 100 years ago? Also, the inn is within walking distance of restaurants and a classic theater to the south.

We stayed in the Jewel Room and loved having a floor to ourselves. Everything was immaculate, and we loved the character of the house itself. Additionally, Maria was an incredible host and cook! We loved getting to chat with her, and by the end of our stay we felt like we were leaving a family member's house. We will definitely be back.

The entire place was so lovely and the host was absolutely amazing. The bed was comfy, both the room and bathroom were super clean, the breakfast was so delicious and the location was perfect! Would definitely return. Best price for all we got!!!

Wow! There is so much to look at! Every corner has some unique art. This place is decorated to the T - we had so much fun looking around! Maria and Scott were both very friendly and welcoming! We loved our stay and can't wait to tell our friends! This was within walking distance of the Ludlow Garage and a great place to stay if you are visiting for a concert.

We were in the area for a Xavier University graduation. The house and rooms are filled with antiques which gave it a unique ambiance. The breakfast was delicious and we had an interesting and entertaining talk with the owner about the history of the house. I had early morning coffee on the side patio and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed our stay at the Gaslight Bed and Breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights at the gaslight, on the 4th floor Swiss family Robinson room. It was quiet, peaceful, very clean, and had everything we needed. The breakfast provided was great! Maria was a great hostess. We enjoyed the conversation at breakfast. There are snacks provided free of charge in the kitchen, if you feel like a snack in the evening. It’s in a historic neighborhood close to a lot of the things we wanted to do while in Cincinnati. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

I swear, as long as I live, I will never book a hotel stay in Cincinnati again. This B&B experience blew all other booking experiences out of the water. To start with, Maria was INCREDIBLY accommodating. Driving straight from work, out of state, I was worried I wouldn't have been able to arrive at the latest check-in time. After communicating this, however, Maria was able to make it work. Immediately, my partner and I were in love with the layout of the house. The property is clearly adored and well-taken care of, with unique decor all over the interior and exterior of the place. We stayed in the Jewel Room, and were SO impressed with how clean and comfortable all the furniture was. My partner has intense allergies, and not once were they triggered during our stay. We had access to our own bathroom and living area, along with snacks and beverages in the kitchen. The cherry on top of it all was the breakfast that Maria had made for us. We had no idea what to expect, and what we had recieved was beyond delicious. She had sat and talked with us like we were old friends, and my partner and I both agreed after the fact that she is the most interesting person we had ever met. There is not a single moment I haven't gushed about to family and friends. A fancy hotel might make you feel pampered, but Gaslight Bed & Breakfast leaves you feeling taken care of. Trust me, there's a difference. If you're ever in town, and are seeking a cozy, one-of-a-kind stay, you've already found it! Give this place a visit. I'm already planning my next one!
