Green Gate Guesthouse

I stayed for a few days for a conference, but I would book again just to spend more time with Dassi. Our stay was delightful! Clear instructions were provided for parking, check-in, and house rules, and we enjoyed the breakfast and snacks. If you're in the area, I would definitely recommend.

The Green Gate Guesthouse is a well appointed true bnb. Dassi was very accommodating and I had scrambled eggs to order both days for breakfast. There was a well stocked library shelf in the room and lots and lots of games in the communal snack/game room. Dassi went out of her way to make me feel at home after a long days drive from NY. The synchronicity of me booking this stay last minute was pure kismet! I felt right at home as soon as I pulled up and saw the solar array on the roof. I soon found out Dassi and Al needed my assistance as a 16 year solar expert. I was able to fix a minor yet naggingly persistent (over 2 yrs) monitoring issue with the solar setup and it was very appreciated. So yes, Kismet! The NW Greensboro location is close to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping yet in a nice residential neighborhood in an upscale part of Greensboro. A bunny in the drive also greeted me the first morning! Highly Recommended!

Lovely place to stay with excellent access to all Greensboro. Great price. The hosts are amazingly accommodating. Clean and comfortable. They got up to prepare breakfast for us and waited until we arrive home. Pressed coffee in the morning with salad optional. They made us feel comfortable and the kosher component was an extra plus. Made us feel like family.

Dassi and Alan are very hospitable. I stay here when I am in town on the weekends. They are kind and welcoming. They provide plenty of kosher snacks and drinks of all types, and they provide a good breakfast in the morning to start me on my way. They have a range of options for rooms, and are very accommodating hosts. And, they care about people (we’ve played games and watched TV together, and sit down to chat all the time). I have called Greensboro home off and on for ten years. To me, this is the best and best-value guesthouse in town.

Don’t bother looking any where else-this is the one!! Dassi is such a fantastic and accommodating host, she is friendly and will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable, well fed, and enjoying your stay to the fullest. This is a true bed and breakfast and such a cozy one at that. Also, if you get a chance to be sure to have your coffee/breakfast out on the deck, it was a perfect way to start the day.

I had the honor of staying at The Green Gate Guest House! When I say honor, it really is no exaggeration. I have been all over the US, I've stayed in several places, for work, for pleasure, and just for a night's rest, and this was by far my most pleasant experience. A nice couple hosts the Green Gate. They are ap to talk to and to hang with if you so choose. They are also more than willing to give you your space and privacy. They open their home, to make your home away from home the most pleasant and comfortable as possible! ...and don't let me forget to mention breakfast. Mmmmmm! If you are in the area for just a night, or even an extended stay, don't hesitate to contact Dassi at the Green Gate guest house. She is very reasonable, and tries to accommodate every need. This will always be my go-to home away from home.

The Green Gate Guesthouse in Greensboro was one of my all-time favorite locations I've stayed at while traveling. With a very quant home with plenty of comforts along with good company and food that's freshly prepared, I would hesitate to return next time I'm in the area. Thanks again.
