Chanticleer Inn Bed and Breakfast

My recent stay at the Bed and Breakfast was absolutely delightful. My wife and I spent a few days here, and it was the perfect, charming getaway. The entire property feels incredibly cozy and welcoming. What really stood out was the staff—everyone was so genuinely kind and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived until we left. True southern hospitality! The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. It’s clear the staff takes great pride in their upkeep. P.S. Huge bonus is that it's an easy walk to Rock City from the Inn!

Quaint inn and a bit rustic. We had a regular queen room and it was small. I recommend getting a king room. The breakfast is outstanding and the staff friendly. In the afternoon the offer coffee, iced tea and a freshly prepared gourmet snack. It is across the street from Rock City and there is a 30% discount at Rock City by staying at the inn.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. The drive up the mountain is absolutely breathtaking. The breakfasts every morning were delicious, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and they refreshed our towels on a regular basis. We got their "Lookout Luncheon" add on package, and we were so happy that we did! In the package we also go vouchers to Rock City, a short walk from here, which was super neat! Starbucks is also within walking distance. The snacks that they put out in the afternoons and evenings were a really nice touch as well. We would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

So my wife and I schedule a Christmas getaway. The good: The breakfast was delicious. The service was also top notch. There is a charger for EV's. You can walk to Rock City! The opportunity: The whirlpool tub shot black specks into the water. This hasn't been cleaned. Caulk is also needed around the tub. While the grounds are nice, it needs to be taken care of. There shouldn't be a host of spiders and cobwebs above the entrance to our room. It was easy to hear the people in the room next to us. This place needs a little TLC to be worth the money. We chose Chanticleer to celebrate our 48th Anniversary. We had no personal recommendations, just read reviews 🙂 Some mixed reviews, but mostly positive. The staff is excellent and friendly 🙂 The breakfast is limited but does offer alternatives which we took advantage of. Midday and evening refreshments were a nice treat. Our room was clean and cozy. We stayed in Rm 10, and the only thing we would say to help improve our stay would to have maintenance check the shower door, it is not sealed well and saturated our shower carpet, which was not a nice experience on our feet. Also, it would be nice if an outdoor handrail could be added on the wall to make ascending and descending more comfortable 🙂 Just a few minor adjustments would have made the stay perfect! We enjoyed the patio and fire pit very much too!

Absolutely love love love!!!! Most beautiful cute place. First off the front desk lady I think her name was Hailey pretty red hair she was amazing super nice and friendly and helpful showed us around.The room was absolutely adorable coffee nook robes for you to wear. Outside as sitting for you just watch the view. Walking distant to lots of amazing places. We played checkers that had coffee all the time freecookies and cracked with this cream on it was delicious. Very relaxing and quiet and peaceful. We got these cute delicious ice creams and there also a gift section very adorable. Then we we woke up at breakfast which was also free with the stay and absolutely delicious my husband got apple cinnamon French toast and I got eggs and maple sausage was both delicious. The manger services us and girl cooked the whole thing. Absolutely will stay here again and again.

What a lovely place! And the breakfast was extraordinary. Comfortable bed, incredible steam shower and very cozy fireplace. We made the right choice to stay here😉
