We arrived early for check-in, greeted by a friendly staff that allowed us to change into our swimsuits, and lounged by the pool while waiting for the previous guest to check out and our room cleaned. We enjoyed staying in the Villa. It provided privacy when we wanted it. The staff provided us with towels, etc. when needed. The parking was easy and the location was convenient to Ocean Drive, the gay beach, and not far driving distance from the gay bars, restaurants, and nightclubs in downtown Wilton Manor. Moreover, the other guests were welcoming and added to the overall positive experience. I would recommend it to any single gay traveler or couple looking for a serene but fun experience.

Not a bad hotel but definitely overpriced. Rooms are outdated and the breakfast is just sad, nothing fresh, just coffee, bananas and some stuff in a fridge. If you are going to charge $400 per night at least offer a decent breakfast. The gym is nice but it makes no sense to have a workout space that only opens at 9am. Very disappointing to go for a workout at 7am and have closed doors. The pools/hot tube areas are also depressing. It could use more plants and some color on the walls. The staff is nice and the overall guests are respectful. You feel comfortable but that’s the bare minimum. Location is great. Close to restaurants and the beach but in a quiet area. Not worthy to go back.

I have loved this place for years. Of the properties at The Grand, Villa Venice is the best. Since the new owners bought the property a few years ago, it doesn't have the charm and appeal it used to have, but I still enjoy coming here for nostalgia.

The rooms could use a major update however the grounds are spectacular and the staff is fantastic. They were very accommodating and went out of their way when we checked in. The 4 pools are clean and well maintained. One for everyone's style. Chill, cruising, and party music. The location is great if you want the beach but a little bit of a way from Wilton Drive and all the gay establishments.

We have stayed here quite a few times over the years in the complex either in Alcazar or Villa Venice and we have always had a great time, this time we noticed a big difference. We understand that it has changed hands and it is noticeable as there have been cut backs but the prices have soared. Cleaning is done by request and can understand that but the room was not very clean when we arrived and other guys were saying the same. Breakfast is still good but not as good as it should be for the price. |Not sure it will last at the prices they have increased it to and don’t think we will be back and again this is what a lot of the guys were saying, such a shame as it was fantastic and a lot of fun.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Venice over the Labor Day weekend. There were three of us traveling together, so we booked a suite plus an adjoining room to give us a 2BR/2BA suite with a full kitchen. It was perfect for us. Under Covid protocols, they did not have daily room cleaning, although you could request it if it is important to you. We found that whenever we needed something, all we had to do was ask.||||The grounds are very tropical and well maintained. The pools always seemed clean and the water was clear. ||||All three buildings in the resort were sold out for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights; however, it never seemed "too crowded." There was always a lounge chair available in the day time. On occasion, you might need to wait for a spot in the hot tubs in the evening, but the heated pools were not a bad alternative.||||While there are gay resorts in or closer to Wilton Manors, we prefer to be able to walk to the beach and not have to travel back in a rental car or uber with wet clothes and sand that inevitably didn't wash off of something. Ubers to and from Wilton Manors were always readily available.

I stayed in Villa Venice for 4 days and I instantly fell in love with the facility. It's in a really great location, about a 10 minute walk to the beach and all of the restaurants and stores on Ft Lauderdale Beach (i think that was the name of the street). The facilities are so well maintained and cleaned, and just CUTE. I love that each area had it's own look and vibe. The staff was really friendly and helpful. ||I stayed in the 1 bedroom Queen Suite, and it was just perfect. ||The only minor complaint I have is that the TV's in the room weren't SmartTV's because I am so used to "casting" everything, but it's clearly a small complaint because there is so much to enjoy there. But I might suggest thinking about upgrading. ||That aside I LOVED my time there and I'm already looking to come back.
