Maple Tree Inn

I was very surprised that the rooms at the Maple tree had every amenity that I always wish for. I don't think I've ever found a hotel that has all of these in a room. Every room has a Keurig coffee maker and is well stocked with both regular and decaf coffees and a wonderful variety of teas. Every room also has a refrigerator and microwave oven, an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, in-room safe, a bathrobe and even a full size umbrella! The pool and jacuzzi were very well heated so that, despite the cold winter temperature, they were being enjoyed by a number of guests up until the 10pm closing time. The hotel also has a well equipped exercise room and a laundry room for use by guests. The atmosphere throughout was very warm, welcoming and provided a sense of serene security. The lobby was lovely and contained a 24 hour fresh brewed coffee/tea bar with a variety of liquid creamers and half and half. I often anticipate having to go to a store to purchase liquid creamer when a hotel has only the powdered kind. From 6am-10am a full breakfast with a large selection of hot and cold foods and beverages is available in the very pleasant dining room. All of the front desk people and the housekeeper were kind, warm and helpful.

Maple Inn will forever be where I stay no matter where I need to go in the bay area. The neighborhood is quite and there are tons of restaurant choices within walking distance. The staff was so friendly and attentive, no matter what I asked for they delivered. The Inn feels warm and inviting unlike most places that have that slick, cold corporate feel. The room was super clean and expertly apointed. There's even a nice robe for you in the closet. There's a coffee, tea and cucumber water station 24/7 and well stocked vending machines on every floor. The breakfast buffet (which is complimentary) was way more than I expected. Scrambled eggs with cheese, ham, sausage, potatos, pancakes, bagels, muffins, fruit, chobani yogurt, rice and miso soup(my favorite) also cold and hot cereals. The pool area is beautiful and a great place to have your breakfast as it opens up right next to the dining room. I can't say enough good about it and I can't believe how reasonable the price was! Can't wait to go back.

This is a good, solid hotel. Modest, comfortable, and exactly what it aims to be. It’s not a luxury or high-end property, nor does it pretend to be. The hotel could benefit from some renovations, especially the corridor carpets, which were worn out and even caused my luggage wheels to get stuck a few times. The rooms are a good size, and the beds and pillows are quite comfortable. The walls, however, are a bit thin, and I could occasionally hear conversations from the neighboring room. The bathroom was decent, though I did experience an issue with the shower — it only produced hot water regardless of the temperature setting. On the positive side, the value for money is great. The room rate includes both a breakfast buffet and parking, which makes it a solid choice overall. Breakfast: The breakfast selection is simple but satisfying: toast and pastries, fresh fruit (apples or oranges), eggs with ham or peppers, rice and soup, yogurts (Chobani), and even a fun pancake-making machine that’s enjoyable to watch in action.

A great hotel for business Travelers. Have all the amenities you could want including a pool hot tub laundry room gym evening coffee in the lobby and a Great Buffet breakfast to get your day going. My only issue was when I had to reup for another week to continue my contract, they decided they needed to move me to another room which was next to a smoker and with a refrigerator freezer that didn't work which I asked specifically for since I had a lot of refrigerated groceries with me. That was the only bummer of my trip.

Extremely bad experience. Old and poorly maintained rooms—dirty air conditioner, broken phone, torn towels, and a strong unpleasant smell in the room. The front desk service was the worst part. The laundry room has ridiculous restricted hours as well. After my meeting, it was closed and the young female staff were busy chatting and refused to help. They kept insisting they did not have the laundry room key and told me to either come back the next day or wait until midnight for a shift change. After the shift changed, a male staff member told me the key had been in the drawer the whole time. Completely irresponsible and dishonest. There was also a dog in the next room barking constantly, and no one bothered to deal with it. Poor management, poor service, and zero accountability. Absolutely would not recommend.

Good rooms just a bit small. Laundry room is dated. Pancake machine needs more instructions and flexibility. Shuttle was not in service for the super bowl...

Extremely poor experience, was given a connected room and guests from other side were literally screaming while talking. Reported to front desk but no action taken. Very noisy refrigerator and just doesn't stop making irritating sound throughout night. The walls are pretty porous, you can hear what others are talking even if they talk at normal voice. Not worth the money I paid for this. Additionally internet is dead slow, just FYI.. It's better to not get carried with their 3 star rating.
