The Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront, Autograph Collection

Excellent service from Cedric the man, the myth, the legend! Cedric was attentive from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. He treats you like family. The service from the staff at all levels was exceptional. The hotel itself was a little pricey, especially the valet parking. At $54.00 a day you shouldn't have to wait a half an hour or more to get your car. The roof top bar was nice, but the seating was very uncomfortable. Tall steel bar stools, tall tables. The view of the river from the roof top bar made up for any inconvenience. Overall the hotel was nice, the service was the very definition of southern hospitality. The location is amazing especially if you take into consideration the historic value of the river front, and the harbor.

The hotel failed to inform us that there would be scaffolding outside all of our windows & construction noise beginning at some ungodly hour that was like a dentist’s office drill from morning until dark. When we complained we got a very small "courtesy discount" but it hardly made us feel like our money (and believe me, a riverfront room is expensive!) was well spent. Do not stay at this hotel until renovations are completed & the scaffolding is down.

We celebrated my 65th birthday at the Bohemian Hotel on Saturday, Jan 25, 2026 in Savannah GA! We were welcomed to the Hotel with a glass of champagne and very friendly staff! Inna the Director of Front Desk was EXCEPTIONAL! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs! Our room faced the river and was a beautiful scenery! The hotel is within walking distance to "Savannah Smiles" piano bar where we went & spent most of the evening. Upon our return we found a chilled bottle of champagne and chocolates with a very sweet card wishing me Happy Birthday in our room from Inna! It was such a surprise! This was my second time staying there and both stays have been amazing! I recommend this Hotel before any other along River Street! You won’t be disappointed!

Disappointed! We were excited to stay at another Marriott Autograph hotel. However, the staff at this location were surprisingly awful. - When we checked in on Friday night the internet was down so they said they would put our keys under our door overnight. They didn’t do it and when I went to the lobby the next morning I had to wait for 7 minutes before a a front desk person showed up (this is a Saturday morning when people are checking out. - The man that helped with our bags used profanity which seems out of place for this type of hotel. - On Saturday night we were on the elevator with other guests and one of them was leaning on the back wall when it suddenly opened and she almost fell backwards. A staff member was taking the elevator to the lobby only two floors up so she could leave. - On Sunday morning at 10:45am when we went to check out there was no staff at the front desk again. - It took over 30 minutes to get our vehicle from the required valet service. Overall: The hotel is cool and the location is great but the staff aren’t very focused on delivering quality service.

Disappointed. My husband and I stayed here for a long getaway weekend with friends and were very disappointed. The staff and location were great, and that counts a great deal. The hotel itself was nothing special and certainly not up to Bohemian standards. The lobby and room were overly fragrant and offered no real amenities. There was construction being done to the exterior of the building which we were not informed of at the time of booking. This would not have been a big deal except for the fact that we paid for a "river view" and we got a scaffolding view. The staff did make this right but it should not have happened in the first place. The hotel's position does not allow for any real view as it is blocked by its neighbor, the Hyatt. The location is great, convenient to all of River Street and Bull Street. We would not stay here again as there are many other convenient options.

I recently stayed at the Bohemian Hotel in Savannah and it was absolutely amazing! The location couldn’t be better — right on the river with stunning views and just steps away from all the charm of River Street. I came to celebrate my birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. From the warm welcome at check-in to the surprise dessert at the bar- every detail felt thoughtful and personalized. The rooftop bar is a must — the cocktails, live music, and views at sunset made it one of my favorite memories of the trip. The room was beautifully designed, blending that classic Savannah elegance with a modern, artsy vibe. Everything felt luxurious yet cozy. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of Southern hospitality, great atmosphere, and prime location, the Bohemian is the place to stay. I can’t wait to come back!
