I travel to alot of holiday inn however this one was a little disappointing. Check in was smooth however the room was not. Very worn. Stained lien stained walls. Very tired looking room. You have to pay for breakfast. I would not return here. House keeping did not service my room at all despite NOT having the do not disturb sign on door. 2 Star hotel. Only thing I liked is the noon check out and plenty parking. Other than that. This hotel need serious help. There is no 24 hour coffee area for guest like other holiday inn. It has to be purchased at the bar during breakfast. Wow Update so I checked out of my room 610 and went down to ask for manager and of course I was told the manager in meeting. This place is a dump and will never get my money again!
Positive: The room Negative: The staff wasn't pleasant. They changed policies of pool closing from 10 pm to 7 pm. Breakfast times change and even tho I extended my stay I had to do a whole different reservation and pay the deposit twice. I will not stay again
I hate I had to give them 1 star. . The pictures tell it all. Apparently, only a few rooms look like this. I had other family staying at the hotel. Their rooms were smelly and outdated but it was not as horrible as room 410. I asked to be moved and there werent rooms available. I asked for a refund to move to a different hotel but the manager wasnt available until the next day. We had a weekend full of scheduled activities as we were there for a reunion. The hotel was so disgusting. Especially the bathroom.
This is the worst experience ever I got robbed by the cleaning staff they walked into my room. They opened my saved deposit with a spare key that they has. They stole my money from the safe. I reported it to the police and the management they refused to take my site and ignored the money. I lost by them stealing my money from the safe and then next time when I booked after I arrive because that’s the closest place to my work and I hope that they fired the person that robbed me because I know exactly who she loved me. They refused to accept my case and they rejected my booking after I already paid for it. They refused to give me a room so more than just make me lose money time and effort because after I arrive to Chicago and I get to their hotel, I have to look for another hotel because they refused to give me another room because I gave them truthful review about the safety in their hotel and their staff that they rob me. Be careful from this hotel. Never stay there again ever and if you stay there, do not leave anything with value in the room when you leave because they will walk into the room and they will rob you.
Odd that they tout a 2024 remodel, would have been scared to see what it was like before. Was rough to start when luggage cart couldn't make the lip due to tile in elevator being likely installed on top of old tile. Elevators where a bit scary as a few times I literally stood inside waiting for doors to close for a more than a minute. Un-nerving. Pool closes at some inexplicable reason at 7pm (and that's with required wrist bands to keep out non-guests). Windows on street side did nothing to quiet the 6 lane road outside, but it was very off-putting to listen to pounding music from the bar until midnight. That is a wild and stupid problem the property should be well in control of. Hosted a conference, but 1 conference room as a makeshift room on 2nd story that was best visited via the steps, which is telling. Key cards were deactivated 30 minutes before stated checkout which left a mad scramble/wait at front desk that could have been better used at the conference. Not worth a repeat visit.
Great location, good service, the rooms are the edge of rundown motel. Beat up edges, railings, walls, and tub. The elevator is heard rooms away from it. The carpet feels gross. The windows are losing their weather sealing. Stay somewhere else.
Pool closes at 7 😭😭. We went down for extra towels and were told that they didn't have any until the cleaning crew got there at 9 am. Otherwise the rooms are clean. Staff was nice. Bar Louis charges automatic gratuity of $20 for everybody I think. We were only a party of 3.
