The Watershed

Thais and Nia were absolutely incredible and truly went above and beyond for us. We unexpectedly lost our proposal space at the very last minute, and during an extremely stressful situation, they were so gracious and accommodating. They allowed us to use the hotel lobby and helped us pull everything together when we were completely scrambling. Their kindness, flexibility, and genuine willingness to help made all the difference, and they supported us the entire time. The Watershed Hotel itself was amazing as well. The accommodations were wonderful, and the atmosphere was perfect for such a special moment. We are incredibly grateful for the support we received and cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The hotel is sharp and nicely decorated, with a big, inviting lobby that makes a good first impression. The staff were incredibly friendly — and impressively unflappable when dealing with some high-maintenance guests which I saw. The room and pillows were comfortable. The walls are a bit on the thin side, but thankfully it never got loud enough to ruin the peace. Consider free breakfast or coffee?

Property is nice. Rooms are great. Staff was courteous. 5 stars so far. The reason for 2 stars - room was next a train track and the train is loud and vibrates the room every 30 mins. I would not stay here unless hotel guarantees street facing room

I had a pleasant experience checking in here, thanks to the excellent customer service from Jeiny! She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and nice. You have the option to choose a room that’s away from the train tracks, an option provided to me from the very beginning, which I appreciated. The hotel has beautiful views of the Norwalk River, especially in the lobby. Thank you again to Jeiny for the hospitality!

The hotel is beautifully decorated, with large windows in the lobby area overlooking the river. We had a family of four in the double queen room and had plenty of space for our short stay! We will definitely be back whenever we visit family in Norwalk—

Stayed as part of a work retreat for 2 nights. The hotel is excellent in terms of the room comfort level, quiet (even though the Metro North is next to it), friendly/helpful staff, decor, lounge, etc. Their restaurant is very nice as well. The only place they fell short was the food. We had catered food for breakfast/lunch (2 of each) in the meeting room we were using, and they were pretty bad. Eggs for breakfast were the worst I've ever had - cold, odd texture, tasteless. The potatoes weren't much better - very dry and no ketchup available. I've never had a bad chick caesar wrap until this stay. The wrap was stale and the chicken was dry. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was pretty good - flank steak, good apps (calamari, salad, etc.), and great cheesecake for dessert. Service in the restaurant was also very good. I would def stay again on my own. Note that it's a pretty dark entrance and parking lot, but the interior is WAY better than the exterior.
