Countryside Suites Kansas City Independence I-70E Sports Complex Hotel

Do not stay at this hotel. It’s a horrible scam. We booked on Expedia with our company and they tried to charge us extra money because I wanted stay in the same room as my partner. Then they wouldn’t take our payment from our company card bc it didn’t have my partners name on it. Front desk was extremely disrespectful and rude. We checked the price difference on Expedia and there wasn’t one. They wanted extra money for no reason.

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights. I know this is considered a two star hotel, but, our room was very clean. The furniture was of a better quality and the beds were super comfy. It even smelled clean. It is in an area with a lot of traffic due to it being right off i-70 but we couldn't hear anything from outside. It's well insulated and we felt safe here. Also wanted to mention,and say thanks to the staff who were very welcoming and made themselves available when we needed them. If we have need for a hotel room in the KC Metro area. This is it. 72 dollars with taxes and all, its a deal. The hotel manager is very kind, and is a hard worker. I wouldn't recommend this hotel or any other, if it didn't impress me on some level. 5 stars on this little gem!

Had a fantastic stay at the Countryside]! The location was incredibly convenient for exploring the city, and the room was spotless and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always with a smile and ready to answer questions. The amenities were great, and extremely affordable! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and hope to stay here again on my next visit!

Very nice hotel, conveniently located off of I 70 plenty of food and entertainment within walking or driving distance the host was extremely polite and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Definitely going back.

My stay here was a pleasure... really nice staff if anything was needed or i had any questions Dexter Ogletree was a great help!! It wasnt a problem for him to get right on top of whatever it was I needed rooms were clean an comfy 😌 cant wait for my visit!😊

Room was excellent! HUGE comfortable bed a California king to be exact!!! It was nice and cold Fluffy towels and the night desk gal was super nice and the morning check out fella was really great as well!!! Very clean!!! Quick access to 70!!! Also was very quit no one was loud at all
