TownePlace Suites by Marriott Anaheim Maingate Near Angel Stadium

The hotel is recently renovated we had no issues, close to Disneyland and they have good amenities like a small gym small pool. We were on the first floor so made it easy, parking is 15 per day, Continental breakfast included the employees were good had positive attitudes, I'm a bon voy member and prefer the Marriot hotels to the completion, my room had a full kitchen and the room wasn't too noisy, there are tons of families here for Disneyland of course. Overall good place to stay.

I stayed for 3 nights, booking both a one-bedroom queen and a two-bedroom queen. The hotel staff mentioned that it had recently undergone renovations, but it seemed like the work wasn't quite finished. The rooms were decent and clean, but one of our windows had a missing screen, and another had a hole. If you're sensitive to noise, be sure to request a room that doesn't face the train tracks – the trains are loud and pass by frequently. The hotel offers a continental breakfast, which includes an egg and cheese omelet, bread, yogurt, and oatmeal. We only tried breakfast once, opting for Starbucks and Panera on the other mornings. Location-wise, it’s pretty convenient. It's very close to Angel’s Stadium and is in a plaza with several popular spots, including Panera Bread, Starbucks, Panda Express, and Dave's Hot Chicken. Additionally, there's a bus pick-up right outside that goes directly to Disneyland. Overall, the hotel was okay.

Renovations were complete for my suite in Oct 2025 and room was better than the pictures. Stayed a week, enjoyed the full kitchen, desk with storage and the portable larger table on wheels. Kitchener as fully stocked with pots, plates, dish detergent and even a dish washer. Pool was almost finished being resurfaced as well as the parking lot. Only negative (which other reviews have mentioned too) is the wifi. It show full bars/coverage but it is weak and cuts out. Wouldn’t have been able to really work if Zoom was needed & I was connected to my MARIOTT Bonvoy account. They need to fix wifi probs. People at Reception were very nice and gave me free cold bottled waters & helped with Walmart delivery. Think it’s family owned? Would definitely stay again. Close to John Wayne airport, Disneyland and within walking distance to Honda Center. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. Guest laundry was nice amenity too. Parking was only $15 & very close.

Positive: I was pleasantly surprised on how beautiful the rooms were renovated. I work in construction so the construction activties and/or work did not bother me. But my room exceeded my expectations. Negative: It would have been nice to see signs that indicated the construction work. "Please excuse our construction mess" or something like that. Even though it was obvious.

I stayed one night with my wife. Aldo was welcoming us and he also accommodated my personal requests. He was such a kind man. We had a pleasant stay there. We will definitely stay there in the future.

Made reservations well in advance, received a confirmation number, called 3 days before our scheduled check in date to confirm and the front desk person canceled our reservation for no reason at all. No contact to inform us of the cancelation or anything. When asked to speak to a manager and make another reservation we were told no availability. Asked why our reservation was canceled, No clue... They couldn't care less. I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you're traveling or truly counting on a place to stay.

Me & My Husband Stood At This Hotel For 1 Day & Are Experience Was Wonderful😊 When We First Arrived & We Went To The Front Desk To Checked In We Were Greeted By A Very Friendly & Kind Young Lady By The Name If Janet. She Made The Check In Process Very Smooth & Fast. She Also Comped Our Parking Since Her Computer System Wasn’t Letting Her Give Us A Free Upgrade Although Our Bonvoy Account Offered Us That. I Appreciate Her For Trying To Do Her Best To Make Our Stay Pleasant. Also in the early morning the young lady at the front desk was also very helpful & kind. We needed a hair dryer & comb she gave us both very quickly. we just don’t remember her name sorry🤦‍♀️ Beside the wonderful customer service the hotel room was very clean & had all the amenities we needed. And the location is perfect it’s close to Disney land & all kinds of wonderful restaurants🥰 We will definitely stay here again
