We did an RV extended stay here with our 5th wheel. It’s the best park in the whole area. You are near Garden of the Gods, you have a view of Pikes Peak, and you adjacent to Manitou Springs! You can receive mail AND packages, uber picks you up and drops you off right at your RV door, and door dash delivers right to you. The staff are kind and very responsive as well. I recommend this place 100%! There are a couple places in the area, but I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
There are sketchy people walking in and around the campground. My son’s bike was stolen from right next tour camper, like right under where we were sleeping. It was leaning against our grill, it wasn’t out there in the open. Our camper was DIRECTLY behind the office with such bright floodlights we couldn’t sleep, yet someone was brazen enough to steal from us while we tried. I wouldn’t feel safe walking to the bathroom house after dark or before dawn. It’s unsafe. I’m updating this because we loved the arcade and pool, it just did not feel safe. Another problem was the large main pool was closed so the small pool was often packed. It was also too hot to swim in during the day. Colorado requires pools at 77 degrees year round which is great, unless it’s 90. I didn’t want the kids wandering around the huge campground alone. After watching homeless people wander in and around the campground, I wonder why they don’t have a secure fence. There are so many children, I didn’t let my kids wander freely after watching the security footage of our camper. Also, if you’re by the dumpsters, watch out for the family of 38 raccoons, they aren’t shy.
I just want to say we had an amazing time here. We are a family of 5 and reading the reviews kinda had me worried but our experience was amazing. Nice and quite, nobody bothered us. Everyone there was nice. The cabin was cozy and the kids loved it. The pool was a great addition from a long day. Perfect place to everything we wanted to see. Went to the garden of the gods, cave of the winds, the royal gorge and pikes peak. Such a great time. Stayed 4 nights here and love it. Thank you, definitely would come back.
We've loved our stay at Garden of the Gods rv park. There is a really comfortable family neighborhood feel to the park. The facilities are nice, the showers are tiled and give you a little more of a feeling close to showering at home. The arcade was fun too, they have a great selection of games! The best part is the view! The view and the location are stunning, theres lots of trees and beautiful views all over the park. Our pull through stall was nice and tidy, our whole time there was great!
We had a pleasant stay at Garden of the Gods RV Resort overall. The park was well-organized and clean. As German tourists, we had issues with the washing machines and dryers, since the digital payment option only worked with U.S. mobile numbers. The heated pool was a highlight and very enjoyable, although it could have been a bit cleaner. Some children were unsupervised in the pool, which was occasionally disruptive, but overall it was still a nice amenity. The arcade area felt quite outdated and not particularly worth spending money on as entertainment. On the positive side, there were nice playgrounds for the kids and plenty of options for disposing of trash, including dumpsters. Unfortunately, the WiFi was slow and had poor reception, even though we were located near the center of the park. We also enjoyed the friendly atmosphere—fellow travelers were open and approachable, and our child had the chance to meet and play with other kids. All in all, this was a pleasant RV park with a few minor drawbacks.
We have visited this RV park several times over the past few years. The service and upkeep have seriously degraded over the last 4 years. They no longer provide an escort to your site. The cleanliness of the facilities has degraded, and at each laundry facility, half of the machines are out of service. The pool at the office was not open for the week. There was not a heated pool as advertised. The wifi was spotty at best. This resort needs some work.
The epitome of cold and soulless corporate BS all in service of their bottom line, and nothing else. I booked a trip which I had to cancel. They put my refund into some account with no indication as to how to use it. I tried using it several times, but nobody answers their phone. Eventually, I got through to them and found out these accounts expire after a year, which they did not tell me. So... there goes my $800+ I guess? When I finally got through to someone on the phone they were so cold about it, as if stealing my money after a year was an obvious policy choice and not an artificial deadline imposed from a place of greed. Thanks for less-than-nothing.
