Dispersed Campground

Nice area. Gets busy so arrive early! We had a nice time. Views were spectacular and people seem to keep to themselves. No restrooms or running water. Roads are bumpy but no high clearance needed.

Camping spots are spread out but open Easy to get too even after the unpaved road some big pot holes Nice view, gorgeous sunset. Very hilly There was trash around Sad when people dont have morals Clean up after yourself!

Amazing free dispersed camping spot in the mountains with breathtaking views of Pikes Peak and surrounding ranges. Highly recommend for nature lovers and peaceful getaways. A few teens can get noisy at times, but it’s generally quiet and scenic. Get there early—prime spots are limited and fill up fast!

Great place to stay. Beautiful views. Roads are little rough. Go slow. Stayed 2 nights and had a blast.

It starts off as a VERY long & VERY bumpy road. I’d recommend driving slow. Be weary of the big pickup trucks that speed down this road as well; there are lots of blind spots. I got there at about 1900. I didn’t have an issue finding a spot for my tent & car but there were quite a few people camping around. But all the campers were respectful of each other; the night was quiet. Oh, it does get HELLA windy up there, depending on where you pitch your tent!! Being extra blankets or Pj’s !!

We stayed here for 5 days in tents and it was a blast. People before us had left some cans (boo!) but nothing to serious. The views from every spot were incredible but ours had an amazing view of pikes peak, highly recommend! The people staying around us were also friendly and not obnoxious! The roads in are a bumpy so go slow but the views along the drive are worth it.

Entire road full of primitive campsites on multiple pull offs. Each pull off has multiple sites. Tent and hammock friendly. Amazing views. Fills up fast and can get crowded. Friendly neighbors. Great for kids.
