City Church of Long Beach

Incredible church with amazing pastors. Can’t wait to go back with my family. I highly recommend this church if you are looking for a compassionate and grounded church home where truly caring for others is at the forefront of the mission and sermons.

It's a nice little church. Just what I was looking for. It's small so you can't hide in the messes. I mean like a lot of people. When the preacher introduced himself he also said my pronouns are he and him. That was a surprise to me which it's a good surprise but I'm glad he said it though it let people draw their lines of how they want to believe. It is getting a turn around visit from me again. There are no such thing as coincidences but after not being in church for 20 years it was right there it was spot on a coolant happened any better.

This is my church! I have been attending here for about three years. I love the pastoral staff and really enjoy the sermons presented by Pastors Bill and Brenna. They may not always say what I want to hear, but they always say what I need to hear. The people at this church are pretty much like the people anywhere. They are a bunch of sinners. Maybe that's why I feel like I fit right in. It is a diverse, inclusive and welcoming church. This church pretty much welcomes anybody. Kind of like Jesus does. I am in the anybody category.

I love this church. Extremely grounded and authentic with wonderful pastors. ☺️

This church truly embraces being a "Christ follower", rather than the typical Christian we've come to know. They are a very welcoming and caring congregation. It's small but mighty. ". .small is the gate and narrow is the road to life and few will find it." If you are looking for a radically open and loving Church, try City Church of Long Beach.

I am writing in response to the article in the NYT. Rarely have I met a priest/pastor who is as thoughtful and convicted in the much needed way. I was very moved by the article and glad that it was published at this time in our history.

I was taken to City Church Long Beach by a friend of mine and I have never been happier at a church than this one! This church has such an amazing community of people always willing to reach out to one another. Theres so much love and peace in my heart after each sunday i spend here. If youre looking for a place to worship or possibly even just a community to support you I recommend coming to city church long beach.
