Maria Castro

A true living monument to the greatest sport. A stadium that loves its athletes and its fans. The seats in all the sections were cushioned, not a bad seat in the whole stadium. The screens had incredible colors, and the entire space was so ergonomic.

Very beautiful facility. It was a pleasure to have gone to a track and field meet there. There were concessions for the Nike Outdoor National event. I don't know if they have it for every event there, but if they do it is awesome. Parking is scarce. Many places around the facility where you can easily get a parking ticket. There is paid parking, but again, it is limited.

Its such an iconic place. So Inspiring to know that so many great athletes have been there. Seeing the grounds was cool.

One of our favorite places to be. Very affordable tickets for the caliber of experience. Comfortable cushioned seats & not a bad one in the house. Plenty of concessions (with the stadium pricing to match $$$, but that is to be expected). Massive screens, upbeat music & pretty solid announcers. We’ve attended everything from Oregon high school state meets to Worlds back in 2022. The only thing missing is parking. Please give us a parking garage. Please.

Chase Becker

My favorite place in the whole world. I got to compete here for many things and its the best track I’ve ever run on in my life. Nice big track with an extra Lane. Extremely nice real grass in the center with a great javelin runway, shot-put , and discus throwing. Amazing quality, long jump, pits, great hurdles, and great steeple chase barriers. thousands of seats. Nice open space great views right on campus. I’ve watched two world records there already this year. would recommend going and visiting.

Living With Bats

The free museum was a sensational find! Worth the jockeying of our activities to work into their limited hours. Even the non runners in the family were fascinated by the innovations of the 3 Bills who were legendary coaches, and back stories of athletes we watched at past Olympics. Visitors are not allowed on the track, but a photo booth provided us with laughs and a virtual visual keepsake (although the text to phone option did not work. Only those of us who had the image emailed received it)

Visiting Hayward Field for the Paris Olympic Track and Field Trials was a breathtaking experience that I will always aspire to remember — a stadium with such grandeur and high seating capacity acted as the ideal hosting site for any spectator to enjoy. Even with a few hundred (plausible for that number to be a significant understatement) people present, there was near zero complication in getting around from the entrance to our seats. Security is relatively straightforward to traverse through and directories with seating sections are readily accessible as you walk around the outer loop, and there are information desks in case any assistance is required. Food here is plentiful, affordable, and convenient for about everyone; definitely recommend browsing the food booths that may be available on your visit. Ultimately a lovely facility and experience for the Olympic Trials — regardless of the track event being hosted, I implore you to consider getting tickets!
