West Ashley Park

Very pleasant in the winter months but I bet it's full of bugs flying around in the summer.

What a great find! I took my dog for a walk here, and we explored this large park. There were plenty of bathrooms throughout the ball fields. We walked the road for a while and then walked some trails around a small pond. Of course, the dog needed to get into the water! We stumbled upon the frisbee golf course as well, and they have a few playgrounds for kids. They also have an area with picnic tables and grills.

The Fire Swamp Disc Golf course lives up to its name. Very heavily wooded with extremely tight fairways and lots of vegetation on each hole, but several water hazards. The holes are pretty short, so even if you hit a tree on your first shot, if you can get a good follow up shot its pretty easy to par most of the holes.

I've been to this park many times but today was my first time hiking the trails. It was a great hike around the this little island. There is fishing and boating access. I was able to take really nice pictures with me and my children. I love that it's tucked away but there's not many signs indicating where the trails are located. There are also 2 playgrounds and fields for organized sports.

I love this park. It's a small forest, it has disc golf, baseball & soccer fields & you can even fish!

So many beautiful places at this park! All kinds of interesting wildlife & the walking trails are great! Wonderful place to take my dog.

Came here with kids and the gate locked! The website and information online says it’s open till 8pm ! If it’s something going on there, please let the visitors know.
