Mashes Sands Beach

This was the prettiest beach I've been to in Florida! I prefer my beaches wild and undeveloped. This one had the unique feature of the marsh and the beach being side-by-side. Made for some beautiful photos and peaceful relaxation! There was a restroom trailer on site with flush toilets, so you don't have to endure the porta-potty!

Love it. Really beautiful love watching the sunrise and sit there love to fish swim and have fun with friends and family. Nice bathrooms.

It is an out-of-the-way beach. Not at all crowded. But it is very dirty. The sand is dirty and slimy in spots. We walked the shoreline a bit but wouldn't get in the water.

Beautiful, well preserved natural beach with lots of wildlife! Great place to walk the dog! Low tide brought tons of crabs and other marine life to view as we walked the beaches.

Visited Mashes Sands Beach during a trip to see my brother in Tallahassee. It’s a quiet and calm beach with low tides—perfect for a peaceful day by the water. The beach is also pet-friendly, so it’s a great spot to bring your furry friends along. There aren’t any trees or seating on the shore, so I recommend bringing your own umbrellas and chairs for comfort. We had a great time relaxing there. Bonus: there are restroom facilities available, which is always convenient.

Best place for a meteor shower night in the area , hit the beach on a low or even a negative tide for a real experience. Bring the dogs , but just remember, the sheriff considers the leash law easy money....
