Days Inn by Wyndham West Covina

My recent stay was extremely disappointing. The property appears outdated and poorly maintained, and my room had a persistent unpleasant odor. The overall condition of the hotel did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness and upkeep. Additionally, my interaction with Karina at the front desk was not professional. My concerns were met with rudeness and a lack of willingness to assist. I expected better service and accountability. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes necessary improvements.

Very nice and quiet place to stay. Comfortable beds and nobody bothers you. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. I recommend this motel.

Stay was okay breakfast was lousy rude help when running out of breakfast items and upon checkout they asked the maids to check the room I was in and the maid lied and said that I took towels which I didn’t so they were trying to keep my deposit I told them that the towels they said are missing wasn’t there and I brought my own towels and blankets and pillows they are trying to make money off the deposits be careful they are thieves themselves by trying to make more money by lying about their lousy maid service. I don’t know what changed but i have stayed here numerous times and never had issues. Hope the management reads this and does something about their lying maids. Also wanted to add that my body has been itching since I have laid on the bed so I don’t know if their are bed bugs or just dirty sheets. To management this place used to be above 1 star rating but i could put no stars I would. It’s so sad because it’s mine and my husband’s favorite hotel to come to when we are local. Please management do something about your employees and fix the bathroom sinks and make sure the beds don’t have bed bugs or dirty linen so your guest don’t have experiences that I had this recent stay.

Check in was quick. Stay was from Saturday until Monday. Upon check in I asked about late check out on Monday. Regular check out was at 11 AM. Inquired about check out at 3 PM. I was told to call on Sunday morning & speak to SAM, the manager. I called Sunday around 1 PM & SAM was not in & I was told he would contact me. My partner went to the office to speak to someone in person. He was told that per management, 3 PM check out would be $120 because housekeeping is off at 3. He then asked how much it would be if we checked out at 2 & was told it would be the same, $120. So, $120 for an extra 3-4 hours! I think someone was trying to pocket that money because online, for another DAY was only $96!!! So, that was kind of sketchy. We travel a lot in this local area, so we know what a typical late check out is & it’s anywhere between $30-$45. We will NEVER return to this establishment. I’m writing this review as I’m still here & it appears we will be checking out at 11 as we are not going to pay $120 for a few hours. It is an inconvenience, but it is what it is! Next time we will either go back to Travelodge or Walnut Inn in West Covina. VERY UNHAPPY! NEVER AGAIN!

I Just called Rita today , I asked if there was a room available for the price listed online. She said in a disrespectful tone "No! That price is wrong ." What an extremely disappointing experience.

I had a deeply disappointing stay at the Days Inn in West Covina, CA. The room itself was subpar. The pillowcases were dirty, the bathroom door didn’t close properly and was rotting at the bottom, and the shutters were ineffective, letting in light and noise. Staying on the highway side meant constant disturbances from passing cars, making sleep nearly impossible. The front desk staff were consistently unfriendly, treating every request as an inconvenience. The "free" breakfast was mediocre at best.
