Gaythering Hotel

3rd time staying here. A nice quiet location out the crazy South Beach scene. Rooms are quirky fun, definitely not a cookie cutter hotel. My room a bistro table just outside so that was a bonus. The bar is small and fun with nightly events. Sauna is small with lockers only but a great time.

This is painful to write, but it needs to be said. I chose this hotel because it presents itself as gay-friendly and inclusive, and as a gay Latino man, I expected respect and safety. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. On my last day, while packing within the checkout time, the hotel manager approached me in a humiliating and aggressive way, carrying a trash bag, and made insulting and racist comments toward me. The situation became so distressing that I had to call the police. Being "gay-friendly" is not just a label. Inclusion also means respecting Latinos, immigrants, and people from different cultures. Racism within our own community hurts even more. I truly hope no one else has to go through this. Our community deserves safe spaces in reality, not just in marketing.

My wallet was stolen out the locker after the workers cleaned it out Nobody asked me for my information or anything just it's not here how did I check in if it's not here? I feel like the staff stole my credit cards and I'd. So don't leave things unattended here even in a lock space it's not guaranteed and they won't care Door woman is horrible

Fantastic hotel and a great price. Love the quiet out of the way location, but only a few minutes from all the fun and beaches. The rooms are spacious and comfy. The amenities are awesome. And the staff is absolutely amazing. Yari was so helpful and kind. Very excellent customer service.

Came back for the second time with friends and had another amazing night. The atmosphere, music, and service were all on point. Hansel really stood out for his friendly attitude and good vibes. Highly recommend

Just checked out, stayed for one night with my partner, it was our first time staying here. It was a great experience, spacious room, the employees are amazing and super nice. Amenities and the bar was plus. Definitely worth checking out.

The rooms were clean and Ok, I’ve been to way better hotels nothing special. They didn’t allow me to get the sauna bc in my ID says that I’m Female. But I’m a non-binary person, must clarify that I was BORN MALE. They tried to seem "so inclusive" but at the end of the day they end up being the same thing they are trying to destroy. The manger so rude and disrespectful. The Argentinian guy was the only person kind in the staff, never coming back. I just gave the manager una cucharada de su propia medicina, was I a BRO? DUDE! .
