Boston Marriott Cambridge

Stayed here with my family of 5 and found the room quiet, spacious and comfortable. Front desk was excellent. They gave us a card for my son’s birthday and offered him a free ice cream. Some room updates needed, but didn’t take away from our experience. The parking was a bit of a mess. We were given many codes from the desk that just wouldn’t let us in or out of the garage. The front desk was helpful, but this was definitely a burden. I would have given 5 stars if the parking hadn’t been an issue.

Last minute reservation for 3 nights over Christmas. Perfect location for Kendall Square-located family. Quiet due to low occupancy this period. Very nice housekeeping and clean room and bathroom. Fabulous view of Google building, Charles River, etc. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas.

A clean and new hotel. Near to MIT campus. Good location. Bed was comfortable.

Great large room with city view. The bathroom, and everything, was super clean. Lots of USB ports. Decent in-house restaurant, with coffee available outside for early departures on the weekend. The front desk was very helpful and cheery. We were sent here when a partner hotel was overbooked and I'm glad they put us here -- it worked out very well.

Amazing staff, nice rooms, amazing gym, nice M club. Rooms are clean, and updated. The gym is huge and fully equipped. Probably one of the nicest I’ve seen. M Club is shared with the restaurant. Breakfast you can order off the menu or buffet (it was pretty good). During the day they have some snacks. At night you can choose 1 appetizer and 1 dessert at no charge if you have M Club access. Great location if you’re visiting MIT. Valet parking was quick and polite. Enjoyed my stay.

To be fair my review was during a tremendous amount of road work in the area so navigation around the area was awful and parking was insanely expensive at $52 a day. I was here for a conference and the ballroom has no windows, color scheme is pretty plain. They're renovating inside at this time as well so the escalators were shut down, and there were problems with the elevators. So my overall experience was not great. I will say the catered food was very very good. I thought that the quality of the food was above average for a hotel.

It’s a decent hotel for what you pay. Rooms are fine and the gym is as good as any hotel gym I’ve ever used with a decent set of machines, cardio and dumbells.
