Main Event Support Center
Main Event Support Center in Coppell presents itself as an arcade-style entertainment venue offering unlimited play options for a flat fee, including games, bowling, and pool tables. However, reports suggest that operational inconsistencies—such as malfunctioning equipment and prolonged wait times—have marred the experience for many visitors. The facility’s cleanliness and staff responsiveness also appear to be areas needing attention, as delays in service and unhelpful interactions have been noted.
Additionally, concerns have been raised about transparency in policies, including unclear time limits for activities and discrepancies in refund processes. While the venue may appeal to those seeking arcade entertainment, potential visitors should consider these factors to manage expectations. Addressing these issues could significantly enhance the overall experience.

I am very upset. I paid almost $60 for a card to play games and almost all the machines were broken down. Half of the machines were missing the balls to play with. We couldn’t get any food or drinks because the waitresses and bartenders didn’t know what they were doing and the place was a mess, and if you sat down at the tables, you would not get served, the floors were disgusting. The bar was DIRTY! It was so disgusting. The bathrooms were so nasty. The guy Justin at the front counter was rude! when he’s handing my change back, basically threw it in my hand. And walked away he didn’t even speak to me. Another employee apologize for him, but overall everybody working there was really rude. I want my money back. It was a waste of my time, gas and energy. I do not recommend going to main event.
I visited @mymainevent @grandprarielocation tonight and to say the least there is room for improvement. I’m disgusted at what happened, I walk in to see a sign saying "unlimited All day activities for $18.99" so I do that and $35 for video games. It’s me and my son so it comes out to be 98 bucks. We go to the bar relatively busy but not slammed but the place was a disgusting. literally wait 25 min to even be seated, the bartender then makes my son a drink and walks off before i even have a chance to order. Of course one of the pool tables is out of order, they said "it’s broken" , looked fine to me. We decide to go try bowling, it’s an hour and a half wait, we get on the list, move on to video games. The ONLY decent time here. Play the games, and decide to get a refund. The kid behind the counter says there is a special today that was 12.99 so only refunded me 28 dollars. I can’t believe he sat there and lied to me after ringing me up not even 30 min later.. I’m simply appalled. Like i don’t even know what to say to be honest. Besides do better please.
I am writing this despite my doubts about receiving a response, as it appears that since the acquisition of Main Event by Dave and Buster's, communication has ceased. Nonetheless, I feel compelled to express my frustration with Main Event. The staff at the Knoxville, TN location have been consistently rude and unhelpful. I have spent an excessive amount of time attempting to get answers regarding loading funds onto a fun card via the app. The employees informed me that they have no control over the app and suggested that I either add funds in-store or refrain from coming altogether. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was disconnected three times. The app's persistent malfunction reflects either a significant incompetence within the IT department or a broader lack of concern and commitment to excellence from the company. This issue must be addressed: the app should be either properly maintained or removed from app stores to prevent further inconvenience. I strongly recommend immediate retraining for the Knoxville staff on customer service and issue resolution. However, the lack of responses to feedback suggests that there may be a systemic issue within the company. I urge the stakeholders to recognize this oversight and take prompt action to improve the company's direction and operations.
Trying to celebrate my birthday with my friends and decided to purchase the unlimited bands for the day (Jan. 18,2020). We purchased them at 2pm and we never told that there would be a private corporate event that would take over the majority of the facility. We should have been informed that that each area of play are in increments of one hour each and that we would be placed on a waiting list again. Two more guest came in 30 minutes while we were bowling and purchased the unlimited play and they didn't get a chance to complete one game as we were cut off. When we asked the staff what was going on, this is when we were told about the hour limit. So we decided to go laser tag and there was an 1.5 hour wait and the pool tables were full as well. By this time the private event was about to start. The staff needs to explain how unlimited play is used and inform customers when private events will cause delay time so that we can decide what we want to spend our money. I feel the we were taken advantage of and the staff were not helpful.
First time Grandpraire location. Theives behind counter charged $60 for what was said on receipt to be a $50 game card. After that 3 mins later made 2 more transactions on my card in the amount of $40 each. Talked to manager who gave me his personal cell phone number and assurance to handle. Called 3 times no answer. Called locations Front desk no answer. Manager stated because it was a gift card there was probably a hold on it lies! Train your staff young and old to not steal and Managers need to be accountable as well horrible. I have proof and. Will notstop calling till this is resolved!
A group of 8 went to enjoy some drinks at the bar. We were there for a little over 4 hours. My wife and I had a total of 4 drinks a person and a meal. It happened to be a friends birthday and as I try to buy the birthday girl a drink I go up to the bartender to ask for a drink and she responds " I don’t think we have anymore because y’all drank them all" In a rude tone. I responded "I’m sorry we gave y’all such great business By just paying you $400.00( between 8 customers) but all you had to say was can I get you something else." I asked to speak to a manager and I explained the way his bartender spoke to me and he did absolutely nothing about the situation and if he did it went unnoticed. During my final words with the manager he agreed to bring me two different drinks but the original bartender that was rude refused to serve them. I had a second talk with the manager and he refused service for no reason. He didn’t know how to handle the situation. Terrible service! I will never go there again or take my family. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They do not know how to handle situations. I still have my receipt that shows the time I opened my tab until I closed my tab and plenty of friends that witnessed the situation.
Where do I begin? We asked four different employees about which areas were available for seating and received four different answers. We then were told it'd be a fifteen minute wait which turned into twenty-five minutes. My burger was cold after being at the table for about five minutes. After speaking with Derrick, the server manager, he informed us that he couldn't make another one; he couldn't offer anything else nor could he comp the bill. Ridiculous!! Who pays for something they couldn't eat? We paid because good ole Derrick, the server manager who was slow to seat us and offered nothing for the poor food...it turns out that he was great at calling the Cobb County police and he did it quicker than he did anything else for us tonight. I'm disappointed in the service, the food, and the lack of empathy. That is the last time I'll patronize any Main Event location and I'll advise others to avoid them as well.
