No clue how they’re drowning in glowing reviews; either they’re fake or from folks who think a massage is getting pummeled by a toddler. This "spa" looks like a garage sale exploded: rickety Walmart end tables and folding chairs, plastic shelves, and musty massage tables that smell like regret. We booked deep tissue massages, but got a cringe-fest instead: no skill, just random pokes, weird rubbing, and a few "oops, did that hurt?" blunders. By the end, I was slathered in rancid oil like a human french fry. When I asked for a hot towel, the therapist looked baffled, then handed me a soggy pillowcase folded like a taunt. This place shouldn’t be allowed near anyone’s body. Save your cash and hit a legit spa; your back will thank you. Edit: clearly you’re not a SPA, there’s no difference between the therapists from either establishment, they both go through the same education and certification. Whoever is coming to your establishment for "years" deserves to try a real therapist and then judge for themselves. They are waisting money. Feedback is meant to give you a clear picture of how your business is perceived through someone else’s eyes, you can ignore it and parish, or take it as an improvement opportunity.

I get terrible knots behind my shoulder blades. Normally I get massages for trigger point therapy because they get so bad i have teouble breathing. I got a couples massage with my husband and I had Maria as a therapist. I don't think I've ever had someone massaging me that knows the body better than Maria. This woman is trained with macroscopic anatomy. She not only got the major knots out, but I wasn't even in pain when I left. Instead I was feeling like a giant marshmallow and I could finally breathe better! Its been about 2 weeks, and im feeling better than ever, more range of motion. I cannot wait to see what other kinds of massages this place has to offer. Plus the pricing was phenomenal! She definitely gained a lifelong customer. I recommend anyone having trouble at the big chain massage places, go see Maria. ASAP.

Island Therapy Massage is Excellent! I highly recommend Maria and her staff for anyone looking for a great massage. The friendliness of Maria and her team as well as the excellent massages bring me back on a regular basis. Mai has been my massage therapist for almost two years. She is a true professional and has helped improve the tightness I have had on my back and legs. She will try different techniques to address my changing needs and is always spot on. Got a massage by the skinny lady with thinning hair & implants, marie the owner. This was a few weeks back. She was nice enough at first but didn't seem capable of addressing my concerns. I needed deeper tissue especially in my neck and shoulders. She seemed to be using a foreign tool instead of her hands. Felt like cheating especially since my neck was still pretty sore afterwards. Nice lady, mediocre work. Irritated that I had to spend more money for another massage somewhere else. Siam Thai, they are consistent and do good work. I feel much better.

I truly appreciate Maria for providing such a caring and personalized experience for me after my back surgery. She always asked what she can do to alleviate and ease my pain and worked on them to provide me relief. In addition, the hour goes by quickly with conversation on issues that matter to both of us.
