The Last Chapter Book Shop Chicago

I have visited this whimsical and lovely bookstore already a handful of times in the last few weeks, the employees are probably sick of my face! I just love the welcoming atmosphere, decor, and great selection; there is so much for everyone, and the staff is so helpful with recommendations. There is no shortage of bookish merch, either. I may have to come back and get that Pride & Prejudice print. The owner was so kind and even informed me of a historical romance (my fave!) fest happening and mentioned that thought of me upon hearing about it! We had such a wonderful conversation, and it made me feel so special, it healed something in me; 10/10! See you soon! xoxo

Romance book heaven😍 I literally have no complaints. It’s decorated so beautifully and the staff is so nice. A little PRICEY, but it was a self care day so I decided to splurge🤷🏾‍♀️. They also have a Blind Date with a Book section which I thought was really cool.

The perfect stop for Romance Book lovers. Make sure to check out their selfie rooms! I think we hit the store after they must have had an event or big weekend rush as many of the Book 1s of series were already gone. They also have a selection of non book gifts for book lovers in your life.

This bookstore is an entire vibe. Very unique as they only stock romance novels. I was looking to change genres from my typical crime and thriller books. They offered a "blind date with a book"option where you can buy a book only knowing a couple of facts about the book. I thought this was really fun as an option for someone who is not sure where to start to get into reading romance novels. Honestly, I love the book I chose and finished it quickly. They also have a little sections of the store where you can take fun Instagram pics. This was fun and made it such a fun experience. I highly recommend this bookstore and will definitely be back.

I came here for my birthday 10/21. I was happy to see a bookstore so busy. I loved the selection and customers bonding / suggesting books to one another. The photo rooms are a cute touch. I purchased some books , stickers and a cozy sweater . My sister got some recommendations for books in mystery from the owner. She knows her books. Cant wait to go back for the holiday shopping !

The staff knows the genre; they give thoughtful, spot-on recommendations that make you feel seen as a reader. I also love the author events and book clubs. It’s one of the few places where you can gush about tropes and spice levels without anyone blinking. Plus, the vibe is immaculate. Roscoe Village is lucky to have it.

This bookshop is such a cute spot! I have picked up some really great reads there. Also, if you are looking to get to know more members of the Chicago bookish community, I have truly had so much fun at their community and author events. HIGHLY recommend following their Eventbrite account because I’ve made bookmarks and friendship bracelets, swapped "blind date" books and met some of my favorite authors with them. Very grateful to have them here!
