The Pencil Test

I was so impressed with my entire experience. I’ve never had a bra fitting like this, and apparently have never been wearing the correct size (until now). Alex was just lovely: very knowledgeable and comfortable to be around. She helped me find two bras and a bralette that fit perfectly. As a busty gal, I didn’t know it was possible to feel this good in a bra that also looks pretty. They have a massive selection and I was impressed by their swimwear too! I will absolutely be back and recommend this shop to all my friends. 💜💜💜

I have been there twice. Once for a nursing bra and the second time for everyday bras and a date night bra. The best bras I have ever had!! The fitting was spot on!! Great selection, awesome staff and perfect bras. This is now my go to bra store! Highly recommend!

What an incredible experience! I had the owner, Holly, helping me and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had no idea I was wearing the wrong bra size my entire life, until today. From start to finish, it was just such a great experience. I highly recommend checking them out. I’m already looking forward to going back for a swimsuit!

I visited The Pencil Test to treat myself to some high quality bras for the first time in years. I was helped by Alana, an absolute magician who was able to tell my size with a look and who brought me bras that were exactly to my taste. She made the entire experience a breeze and I'm so grateful for both her and The Pencil Test as a whole. I will definitely return for any future bra needs. (or wants!)

I've seen the reviews and finally decided to make an appointment and it was an even better experience than I envisioned and I couldn't be any happier. I've never had a bra fitting and have been buying the WAYYYY wrong size that I thought fit my entire adult life. Alex was incredibly helpful, supportive and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable through the entire process, I didn't feel pressured into any purchases (which was a concern) and very confident that I did leave with something perfect for me. I'm not sure why all the rave reviews-- my experience here was awkward and not helpful at all. My partner booked the fitting as I've never had a bra fitting, and he came along with me. He said he felt like he was treated like he shouldn't be there-- while I was in the fitting room, he said the staff & customers were giving him weird looks so he ended up going outside to wait for me instead of shopping for bras that he thought I'd like. As for the fitting itself, it was weird-- it was extremely impersonal and odd. Instead of measurements & adjusting, the salesperson (Ashley, who finally introduced herself about 15 minutes into the process) had me pull my shirt around myself and then gave me approximately 20 bras of different sizes to try on. I can do that myself in a department store? After trying on several ill-fitting and uncomfortable bras, I just gave up and left. I'm not sure why so many women rave about this place, but I had a wildly different experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I walked in on a whim after measuring myself at home planning to just browse. I was able to do a walk-in fitting with Alex who was so helpful and knowledgeable. I ended up being several band sizes smaller than I thought and I cannot begin to describe the difference wearing the right size makes. I have never felt so comfortable and supported by a bra. The spillage I've experienced over the top of the cups all my life vanished and now my fitted shirts look so smooth. I truly cannot reccomend getting a fitting here enough.
