I'll welcome the change in ownership IF they keep the mural (and do better by their staff). if that mural goes or they're no better than the last folks, we can all go online

I really thought the bad reviews were being exaggerated but after my encounters with this company and this particular location they are not. First when you walk in of course they can hear anytime someone comes in and three times I come in I can see them upstairs on camera and the always make you wait like stocking the selves are so much more important than assisting the person who walks in. They are a con artist company when it comes to giving your points. They hope you don't ask about your points and they don't ask if you have a phone number in the system to give you rewards. One time I did ask the blonde with green in her hair how many points did I have, she have the rudest look and reluctantly pulled up the information, she said I would receive a discount on my next purchase. I went two weeks later expecting to save some money, again I had to ask her to pull up my information she says I have no points I had to remind her of the conversation but she refused to do anything about it at that time. She could have gave my off for my inconvenience. Not one of them have any customer service skills. Other works before the name change and employee were much more customer oriented. I guess I have to test other products at the competition because I am never going back to this fraudulent place!

I have visited a few times since the change of ownership and this place is an absolute mess. Do NOT listen to the employees recommendations at this store. The employees get commission, so instead of them being honest about their products, they push the more expensive products and products that the company has deals with. I used to adore this store and loved that the old staff went out of their way to recommend items that fully fit MY needs and budget. The upcharge for their products is ridiculous. Everything is cheaper online. Their product layout makes no sense and I found it really difficult to see all of my options when shopping. I also overheard staff a few weeks ago discussing their AI intensive video and audio recording systems. I'm not a big fan of my conversations in an adult toy store being audio recorded, but maybe that's just me. I wasn't thrilled when I heard about the change of ownership but still decided to give this location multiple chances. However I was just extremely disappointed. Overall this location has strange and pushy staff, confusing product placement, and just a general lack of authenticity. Take your business elsewhere.

Romantix was a wonderland of lube, laughs, and lovely staff who didn’t bat an eye when I asked for... well, "backdoor" accessories. Let’s just say I left with my bags full and smiling big. If I could I would give it 6 or 7 stars!

Used to be a repeat customer to this location I live right down the road and my significant other and I loved it. However, the owner recently sold out to the romantixs corporation. They proceeded to fire the staff. Safe to say they’ve lost our business quickly. Shop small, shop online, keep Richmond weird.

RJ at Romantix makes shopping fun! He’s knowledgeable about several aspects of products,, so don’t feel nervous about asking him for specific items. Def check out the new store!

I would give them zero stars but yknow apparently we can’t do that. A corporate buyout where sales are king and the employees only seem to care about lining their pockets rather than the health and safety of their customers. It’s disgusting to see what this company has done to a place i have spent my hard earned money on in the past. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
