This place is very retro and cute. There can be quite a line-up, so be prepared for that. We were told by staff at our hotel to try a "garbage plate", because that is Rochester local cuisine. It's kinds gross, but I get that if you grew up with it, you'd think it was fun. The best thing at this restaurant were the milkshakes and if you go from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM you can get them for half price.

This is the only option at the Museum if you’re looking for fries. Ordered using the QR Code to avoid the lineups and to save 10%. The app said order would be ready in 10 min. Waited 30 min and still not ready, they apparently forgot our order! Waited another 20/30min. Food was meh. Fries were not very good. Curly fries were a tad better. No gravy. Only meat sauce 😨. The famous cheeseburger was actually quite good. The red hot dog was also good. Subbed our drinks for slushies. They were busy, so maybe if it wasn’t so packed it might actually be good. Hit or miss. Would probably try again because of the lack of lunch options at the Strong.

Please be cautious eating food from here!!! My children and I had lunch here today, and we got food poisoning!! So not only did we have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for mediocre, dollar menu type food, but now my children and I are all extremely sick as well. Definitely not worth it!

Bill Grays is certainly a great place to eat while attending the Strong Museum with high quality, tasty food and drinks. The price is a bit higher that fast food, but it is certainly worth it. The menu offers, burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, fries, and other delicious options. They also have great milk shakes. The Bill Grays restaurant at the Strong Museum is by far the coolest of all of their many restaurants as it is an old "trailer diner" that has been moved inside the museum. Although a bit small, they also have patio tables around the diner that are still inside the lobby. The diner is near the main entrance, near the gift shop and carousel.

Great place for lunch at the Strong Museum, easy & simple menu, so many fries for the kids meals! Kids were in heaven. The sausage patty with onions/pepper & cheese was amazing! My only issue is that during there lunch hour if you choose to eat in the store itself it gets EXTREMELY loud, not sure what they could do about it but it was uncomfortably loud when it got busy.

Absolutely amazing experience! My 7 year old autistic twins had an awesome time. Would definitely go back!

I didn't eat there but everyone else did. They really liked the food (Burgers, Fries, Soda Pop) and they had given us a pager but it didn't go off at all. We waited for about 25 minutes and we finally had to go up and get the food. I really liked the atmosphere. It had a 50's diner feel. It was like walking into a HUGE Airstream camper, lol. Next time I'll eat there. It's got a Veggie Burger on the menu so there are options for Vegetarians. I don't know if there's Vegan options though. Sometimes restaurants, although they have Veggie alternatives on their menu, cook the Veggie Burgers on the same grill as the meat burgers. Not saying this is true here. I don't know.
