The Unreliable Narrator

Great little store with plenty of books, gifts , stickers, and even a few small games. Go here before shopping on Amazon for Christmas as there a ton of great gift ideas. Especially great if you love Tolkien.

While in Rochester last month for the first time to visit family, my sister took me to this bookstore and I absolutely loved it. I loved the way it was organized with different themed displays, the selection of the books, and the sweet homey vibe. The sticker selection is *incredible*. Truly, I had to make serious choices on which stickers to buy. The person at the check out was lovely and really personable. I really look forward to returning to this shop one day! Couldn’t recommend it more.

Awesome shop! I am reading a book I bought from there right now, they have a great selection! Can't wait to visit again next time in Rochester. Also, very happy that they chose to stand with Minnesota on 1/30 as part of the national strike. I love businesses that align with my values! ❤️

I love this place; great selection of new books for adults and children, with a range of genres from romance to fantasy, history, and social justice. There is also a section filled with candles, knick knacks from your favorite fictional world, crystals, and tarot cards. It’s the perfect place to pick up a gift for your whimsical friends.

I am in love with this place! It’s a charming bookshop and gift store selling all sorts of items and has something to look at in every tiny corner. I spent hours here, I lost track of time looking at everything. The book selection is also excellent and you can tell time and care goes into curating. If there’s anything you’re looking for, it’s here. It’s also a really cozy/comfortable atmosphere, and also LGBTQ+ safe space. The owner is also wonderful! My new favorite bookshop, will be coming back on a regular basis.

Hands down my favorite shop in all of Rochester. The vibes are off the charts, the book selection is *chefs kiss*, and they have all the trinkets your little crow brain desires! They also absolutely love their community, which is so wonderfully refreshing. If any of my friends read this, just get me gift cards here for any/all holidays/birthdays. ✌🏼

My wife and I stopped in to look for a book for my baby niece before Easter. We were in the area and decided to try a new bookstore. This place has so much to see - not just books! It's a little dark inside because it has that mysterious, witchy vibe. I loved their door as it definitely set the tone. There's a bunch of trinkets for all types of people scattered throughout the store. They had ample book options. We were able to get a cute dog book plus a little stuffed dog to go with it. The workers were very polite. There is a back wall that looks like an old-school apothecary shop that guests took photos in front of. I'd love to stop in when I have more time to really look through all of their knickknacks. It's a fabulous stop!
