My partner and I had a fantastic time stopping by this bar for a couple drinks. They had a lovely selection of books, and the fact that all of them were $8 each is a great deal! Bartenders were friendly and accommodating, and the bar itself is beautifully designed. Small nooks for those who want to focus on reading, booths to encourage conversation in groups, and bar seating to interact with new people. Will definitely have to come back next time we're in town.

This is such a great gem in WAVL!! I wish I'd tried it sooner. Absolutely immaculate vibe. It's the perfect combination of a cozy library mixed with a historic speakeasy. Drink menu is awesome, with great wines, beers, and a wide cocktail selection! The staff are super friendly and chill also. New favorite place!!

Smells like books when you walk in!! Cool AC, cool drinks. Great service, interesting selection of cocktails. Upbeat vibes, but still laid back. Atmosphere and background music, 10/10.

Love the decor and the cocktails. It's cosy and fashionable at the same time. They have a really nicely put together cocktail list at very reasonable prices. You can settle in at the beautiful bar and chat with the friendly bartenders, grab a sofa and lounge with friends or cosy up with one of their books in an armchair or carrel (nostalgia for student days).

This has been on my "need to check" list for a year now! I don’t know why I waited so long. The staff is super friendly and masters of their craft! The vibe is chill, and the drinks are amazing. This will be our new go to place for amazing cocktails and top notch service. Who knows—an $8.00 book might strike your fancy, too.

This is an amazing place but not a 0lace to eat, That being said, this is one of the nicest bars in town with great options all around. It's beautiful, they sell cool books for 8$ and they have a great drink menu with a few bar snacks. I have lived in WAVL for a while and slept on thr place. Don't make my mistake!

Michael is the best bartender I have ever encountered. No matter who is tending bar, you can get amazing drinks here. Cheers!
