Riverside Park — Buffalo, NY Visited: October 2025 • Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) A quiet stretch along the river with very few people around during my visit. The river itself looks clean and makes for pleasant views and a cool breeze. There’s a dedicated bicycle lane and a separate pedestrian path, which makes strolling or cycling straightforward. That said, the park doesn’t feel well maintained—paths and seating areas look a bit tired, and overall upkeep seems uneven. It’s a cool riverside area with space and potential, but at present it feels under-cared-for despite the lovely waterfront setting.

Nice place to relax. They had different sport activities before the pandemic. They had t-ball, baseball,football, ice skating, hockey and there are swimming pools which are still not open. I haven't seen any activities yet.There is a playground which is open for the kids to enjoy. There is summer lunches at this location.

It was a beautiful day to walk in the park... Not sure if the rock filled area is supposed to be filled with water. It would be beautiful, but would need constant tending to...

A great place to stroll through, or sit and watch the birds. As long as you find the weather comfortable, this is a great place to walk through. Lots of different paths for different viewpoints and it's all quite pretty.

I played at this park one time in my life I am grown now but it still looks nice especially in the morning it's quieter older people walking around looks like a very nice place to work out in the morning

Went there for my godson's last FB game as he's only in little league at 6 yrs old and they don't have the full season activities. My goddaughter is very pleased with how all are treated and her hubby is also the coach of little man's team and.his other 2 sons as well. It's great to go there for their games. It was raining, windy and chilly/damp but a good outcome and the kids enjoyed. They ended their season with pizza, cupcakes, drinks etc. Then home for a fun evening after a shower and relax with the family.
