Great Bridge Lock Park

Absolutely beautiful and clean and safe and well preserved natural environment. The grounds are clean & the foliage and shrubbery is cut back for the trail walks. Being able to have a general escape and immerse herself in all of that natural beauty right by the water on the trail with a light glistening in his pure magic.

Nice trails, but would be nicer if areas were cleared out along the water of the loop path through the field. Would have liked to have a better viewing area to see the coastal birds.

This place is very nice and peaceful. Boat and kayak/canoe launches are here. Plenty of bank fishing and crabbing opportunities available here. Lots of picnic tables and 1 covered picnic area. Restroom facility on site. The park is very clean and dog friendly.

Great little 2 lane boat launch. The kayak launch is also nice. Playground, picnic area. One porta potty. Clean and safe feeling. The locks are fun to see. Only issue I had was on the water. Be careful of the larger vessels who may not be concerned with their wake. 2 boats came through making a wake twice the height of my 15ft jon boat. I was close to taking on water on the 3rd wave of the wake.

My boyfriend & I had such a great time at the park & on the water with family! Definitely will go back!

Another park found while geocaching. This is really quite cool. Parking along the road, and a parking lot at the boat ramp. Only one bathroom though. Accessible to all, with a nice little playground on the side by the Locks. Lots of boats, waiting in line, some very pretty ones, and lots of people fishing.

This place was pretty. There was decent traffic on the water, but not so much that it wasn't enjoyable. Only one guy on a big boat who didn't slow down and created wakes that dumped water in the boat. Shores were filled with little crabs. It was a good paddle.
