Armour (Philip) Square Park

Just north of where the White Sox play, the playground at Armour Square Park is massive and well-equipped. There are a total of 16 swings as well as a large play structure for older children with a variety of slides, climbing elements, and overhead elements. The playground - on the northside of the park - is next to a large water spray feature. The play surface is fenced from the street and features a few benches and small picnic tables scattered around large, mature trees. All in all, this is a large playground with lots of great options.

I hardly see kids playing. There's no outdoor sporting events. I at least never heard or seen any. But it's in decent condition and the staff are often friendly.

The park is absolutely amazing! We adore visiting because every time we come, there's something new and exciting to experience! The atmosphere is always vibrant, and you can feel the exhilarating White Sox vibes all around!

Great space, open concept. Safe for pets and kids. Stairs, walk/jog path. Baseball field in middle of park with bleachers, tennis courts, and a possible volleyball court with ur own net. Chicago park district interior with gym, swimming pool & activities. View of the Sox stadium right there!!! Well lite and plenty of greenery around.

Excellent place for evening jogging or just walking. Has a playground for Baseball or football. One Badminton or Basketball court is available too. This Park is not only child friendly but it also has a dedicated children's playground with equipment.

I love Armour park. They have tennis courts, swimming pool, baseball court and many more.

The weather was perfect and the park was a wonderful get away. Great place to spend a beautiful autumn day. I was able video a squirrel enjoying a half of a pumpkin left over from a entertaining event in the park. There were mom's and dad's with children, a few of them had the family dog. Also, there were a number of people playing tennis.
